Early underground horde bases can be deathtraps. Like I mentioned, if you are really worried, POIs can be used if you remove a way for them to get to the roof. You will have a horde to kill afterward, but they are a lot easier to deal with, not on horde night.
Thanks! I'm not here to prove I'm any kind of ultimate gamer, for me it is 100% about enjoying the game and making mistakes on the way. Glad you enjoy it :)
if you carry building blocks/wood with you at all times then you can stack two up then upgrade to wood put a third within jumping distance then you will always have somewhere high up to fight. just don't put that third one too close or the zombies will use it
You typically need something in the ceiling above the hatch. Dogs can get through a one block hole without issues and so can a regular zombie while crouching. It rarely happens in POI:s because they don't bunch up so much that they force each other to crouch but on horde nights it tends to happen a lot. A pole shape should be sufficient. It's a bit annoying because standing upright you occupy two full blocks so you need to crouch to get under the pole.
Damn it, you're right! I always forget to add that blocking piece! I think I've seen Glock use the double pole that goes on either side of the wall which I think you can get through without crouching.
I had thought that you were going to build a platform in the middle of the hole with a side pole access for the zombies that you could knock them off and cycle them around. Now I'm really curious as to what type of base you had in mind if you don't think you'll be able to build it. Knocking all those concrete blocks out will definitely be a time consuming chore. Anyway, I'm looking forward to see what you come up with for horde night and I agree that backing yourself into a cave with no exit is a terrible idea. Fun episode, see you in the next one.
Thanks :D I'm not really that keen on that kind of switchback (i think that's the right term?) base. I have my own design which, although problematic, has always served me well in the past. The question is whether it will hold up when it gets to a 64 spawn blood moon... time will tell!
There is something I've seen somewhere that you can beat into the cop cars till they are 1 hit then run into it with a vehicle it will set off the alarm but not spawn zombies in then you can beat the car till the alarm goes off
Full points in hidden strike and shadows and full assassin outfit you’re almost invisible 🫥, the machete and the crossbow =deathly assassin Creed Style :))))
@Florin714 definitely sounds like a fun build and I've never tried it before. I'm assumingnits great for POIs but how does it hold up against a blood moon spawn of 64 on insane difficulty? Cause that's what I'll need to survive until day :D
Against 64 insane it will do perfect with a machete level 6 and an smg level 6- with rad removal. I reached day 57 with no issue, 64 enemy’s insane diff. all it matters the base. But the outfit will not help you, Bcz on horde night the bonus for sneaking is disabled. I would craft an heavy armour to resist stun damage or speed in case of horde base is falling down( sorry for my English, not my first language)
I know its your series.. but why not just use blocks to build down the subway tunnel with a hatch system in place. That way they have to come down into the tunnel and you will have them bottle necked instead of trying to dig through concrete with a stone pick axe. The tunnel is wide enough and already concrete so slowly building horizontally across the interior should be easy.
It's a great idea in principle but i'm not sure if they'd spawn in the tunnel behind me and be able to dig in from behind, or find another way in that I've overlooked. It probably would be the strongest horde base possible for day 70 to be fair, and I might consider it as a backup plan. The other problem is I'm just not keen on bottleneck horde bases. I know they're the safest, most efficient way to deal with a big horse, but in some ways they take all the fun out of the game for me :D
@@Thinchap I can agree with you on it making it easier and less fun. But, with the time constraint your under, the resources you have and the environment you started in. It might be better to do that then just find an all concrete poi and hide in.
Yeah, I just didn't notice I had it, either that or i forgot. Sometimes I miss things due to my illness which causes extreme lapses in concentration, and memory problems.

I think I've come up with a viable plan, we'll find out next episode :D
So loving this series. Its fun cause you also enjoy playing it. Keep having fun too many people take this way to serious glad you don't.

The shopping carts(trollies) great for mechanical parts
True! Another one I always forget about, thanks :)

I have heard that but never tested it !
Put some points in hidden strike and from the shadows, more sneak damage and you can escape faster, and craft when you can full assassin outfit
I'm still undecided whether I'm gonna go stealth build or not, but if so I'll definitely take your recommendation :)

@Florin714 your English is excellent! As is the advice, thanks 😀
coyotees can somewhoe squeeze thru 1meter wholes. ive had it too
Good to know! I was a little surprised :)

It's definitely being considered, at least that way I'm likely to survive :D
@@Thinchap I want you to survive.. I like the ADD you have when it comes to this game. Some ppl are way too serious when they play.
@@shanegarrod6498 Glad someone appreciates it :D
Good job
Thanks!
Bwahaha!, Using the STEROIDS would have freed up a slot AND taken care of the encumbrance🤦🤦♂🤦♀

You could just dig the bottom layer out and collapse the rest of the wall.
Very true, a good point which didn't occur to me!
