I would say mission accomplished! Or at least it's on its way there already! :P I would say that BABYMETAL is the best band to introduce to the non-metal listeners crowd out there. I only listened to tiny bits of metal before, but after discovering them, here I am listening to a lot more Metal music that I never thought I'd enjoy before. It also made me more open-minded to listen to a lot more other genres that I never listened to before. And because of all this, I wanna thank BABYMETAL for coming into my life. :)
Loved the reaction video. While watching you two, I got the goose bump feeling once again. I suppose that it is seeing or knowing that Babymetal's music is reaching so many people that does that to me. My personal opinion, that I feel fairly certain is similar to many others, is that Babymetal is genuinely a unique and refreshing force in music. Nothing like them truly has been done before, especially with the total package that they give. Not to mention their youth and being able to perform at such astronomic levels. In the first few seconds of watching the video, your lovely Valeria uttered "whaaat?"...That is the very first step.

Actually, if your intention is to get her into metal, babymetal is the perfect gateway drug..karate is dull though. I woulda went either with road of resistance live from japan, or perhaps megitsune. Have her check out Wagakki Band also if she is digging the japanese metal/rock vibe..they are...amazing.

John Thompson The last statistic of Babymetal fans I've seen is from early this year from a Japanese TV show. They mentioned: 34% is girls/women, my guess is that's probably (one of the) highest of any metal band. Babymetal also ones had 2 concerts: male only audience and female only audience. The female only concert also had a proper Wall of Death. :-)
