His drumming is perfect for the song. As a drummer myself, you learn that moderation is just as important as showing off. I for one love this drumming, the way it builds. The whole song is amazing.

Marcus' best instrument is actually the drums. When they started the band they needed a lead singer and that's when he picked up the guitar and did wonders.
I disagree. I think his drumming couldn't have been more perfect for this performance. The dynamic changes were spot on, the timing was perfect, using mallets for the quieter parts. In fact, I don't think there was a single minute detail that he got wrong. :/
