Welcome to the next 24 Hour Stealth Camping adventure.
Today we will be camping out at Denny’s 24 Hour Restaurant in the rainy city of Concord, Ontario in Canada. We are going to be eating a bunch of awesome meals off Denny’s huge menu, like… The Lumberjack Slam, the Bourbon Bacon Burger, a T-Bone Steak and of course the classic Eggs Benny.

You do know that poached eggs continue to cook when taken off the heat. So you can go from runny yolks to soft yolks within minutes. You have to remember you walk from the restaurant to your car and then talk about it. Within that time the yolks have continued to cook. Just saying

The way Ken hyped up that steak, you'd think was the owner of that Denny's. And then later in the video he was talking about the english muffin in the eggs benny not being "crunchy"....well the fact that it has a hot piece of ham and hot egg on top, while steaming in that to-go container. Of course the english muffin isn't going to be crunchy.
No it was barely toasted. English muffins hold up pretty well.
I just found your channel and you don't even know how much watching these is helping me right now. I haven't been able to eat for 3 weeks as I'm in the hospital for a bowel obstruction and will be having surgery today. Watching you eat, allows me to live vicariously through you and it truly boosts my moral as well as keeps me entertained so thank you. 💛

I hope you are recovering well. I had a similar surgery just about 2 years ago. I was hospitalized for 10 weeks and that is when I discovered mukbangs, lol It took me months to get my appetite back. Be well

@@tempeststormsound I didn't go into depth but however you want to explain it, Canadas taxes, housing bubble, gas and grocery costs are all very high and doesn't make up for free healthcare in my opinion. As a younger healthier person my healthcare is cheap compared to all the costs of living in Canada. (might not be the case for everyone)

I've never had a T-bone that was falling off the bone. Usually meat falls off the bone around 205° internal temp, so that steak was definitely overcooked.
They probably buy the cheap beef so you have to do something to tenderise it. That's why it comes with steak sauce. Good is good whatever you have to do....

That steak looked nasty. You said you like your steak medium rare… that thing was hammered. Way overdone and definitely frozen before cooking. Why would you ever order that from there and think it’s a good idea?
That thing was frozen for so long the frostbite separated it from the bone. That steak was totally busted.

Hi Ken! Loved the last vlog when you had the white van! Sitting at the lake at the end. Glad you were able to swim!!!! We have 2 Denny's in Evansville, IN in the US. One on US 41 N&S HIGHWAY. And one 1⃣ E side of town! I ate at the one on 41. Great dinner we had! Had a great dinner menu as well! Steak, Chicken, fish, yum. My mom and dad now in heaven. I had a cheeseburger and onion rings chocolate shake!!!! It was sooo good. Breakfast the best!!!! Yes I had to vinegar and salt really good!
Yay for Denny’s ! worked at Canada’ Wonderland for a summer when I was 18 and it was the best summer of my life ! Thanks for bringing back the best memories with this location ! ❤️☀️🍳🥓🍔

Salt and vinegar, are a fantastic topping for battered onion rings! Both are great on fish and chips too. That bourbon, cheeseburger looks amazing!

Eggs Benedict are poached eggs always done with firm whites and a runny yolk. The hollandaise looked thin but you did say it tasted good 👍

I'm going to make a point to try vinegar and salt on my rings soon.

Dennys is one of those places I've always wound up at when there's nowhere else to go. It's crappy diner food, but it's 24hrs. Which gives it some value, I suppose.
When it’s take out or delivery in a styrofoam container, the eggs continue to cook. You need to order eggs Benedict to eat in the restaurant. You should know that.
Seen alot of different items come out of Denny's and I must say their burgers look absolutely divine 😋

Denny's left SW Ohio where I'm at years ago. I can't tell you the last time I've even seen a Denny's but it's good to see them still going in Canada.

I still remember when I was a child, maybe 9 or 10, my parents took me to Euro Disney and on the first night I tried onion rings for the first time, I then proceeded to have them for nearly every meal the next five days we were there lol

Have you ever tried the Super Bird sandwich? That is what I order and have for probably 30 years. As described on their menu: Roasted Turkey breast with Swiss cheese, bacon and tomato on grilled Sourdough bread. So yummy!
I do love Denny's breakfast - however, they are not all created equal. Our's is horrible, but if we go to Orlando, it is night and day different. Love the Grandslam and the Lumberjack Slam. iHop is another good one.

Ate at Denny's every time we went into Calgary for morning doctor's appointments back in 2003, still brings back good memories, hubby tried grand slam...too much for me. Good video.
Stealth camping, you mean snoozing in your van. Give us some real stealth camping like slapping a tent on the roof of that Dennys or just maybe just call it bingeing and sleeping in a parking lot LOL
To me rain is always relaxing. Makes you think, makes you breathe, makes your heart powerful, etc. Understandable some people think different in that but at the same time, you have to take in relaxation
Ken, you need to get yourself some headphones and listen to white noise to prevent those outside disturbances while trying to sleep. I listen to rain n thunder and wind tunnel fan. Works great!

I use to work for Dennys in Rockwall, Texas and I've had everything on the menu. My favorite dinner was nachos, lunch was the slam burger breakfast was the lumberjack
Hey Ken, you should try the spicy chili seasoning packets from Wendy's on your fries and onion rings. It's vinegar based but thicker and will stick better to your onion rings. It's essentially a spicy thickened vinegar and it's outstanding on fries and onion rings.

steaks 🥩 need to be cooked to medium because they continue to cook after its removed. When it rests to get the grains to tighten back up. Turn your steaks a quarter turn for grill marks. See what Paul thinks? Plus its preference.

@@vuongn2318 i wouldnt say that, my old man ALWAYS had to have A1 with his steak, didnt matter how seasoned or juicy it was, he had to have his sauce, even with Bacon Wrapped Fillet Mignon.

I’ve never put salt and vinegar on onion rings but have tried vinegar on French fries. Vinegar has a lot more kick than ketchup.

Last summer our family was in Wisconsin Dells for a long weekend… that weekend every breakfast place was packed! We ended up at Denny’s, actually two different ones for each day… we all loved everything! I know I had Lumberjack or some big omelette… really great!!!!

I LOVE vinegar. I have one for you Ken...mix up some vinegar with equal parts soy sauce, a bit of salt and pepper to taste. Pour it over rice with pork chops. YUM
There used to be a Dennys in Lancaster, Pennsylvania USA, but was shut down a few years back after the owner was arrested on drug charges and selling drugs in the store. Now the nearest one is over an hour away.
Are you from around lancaster? If so do you like sweet bologna sandwiches? My family is from York and spent a summer there as a kid.
