Absolutely love that this interview includes CT & Baio! A phenomenal album from a phenomenal band.
wrong it is more woke carp
@@Dr_Jim57you're an embarrassment
@@Dr_Jim57lol ok bub
The album has so much perfect replay value I have already listened a number of times
@@Dr_Jim57alrighty Jim you should head back to your nursing home
Ezra also does, not a pod, but an internet radio show called time crisis with American painter Jake longstreth. As a tc head… this needs to be said

Should’ve grilled them on their plan to address the scourge of when I plug my phone into my car and A-Punk automatically starts playing since it’s always alphabetically the first song in my library.
Relatable comment.
😂
So relatable!
That they played A-Punk at their first ever show is *insane.* Such an iconic song.
Im so unbelievably happy these guys are still together and creating. I miss the days where albums were crafted to be enjoyed holistically, and they have always done that, with a core band identity and sound yet an evident evolution between each. Looking forward to trying to re-find my attention span and take the new one in 😍
(Probably going to just be Old and listen to Vampires of the City a bit first)
I think albums are still created this way. Billie Eilish is a great example of a popular artist who actually seems to craft her albums with narratives, cohesive storytelling, and with a holistic purpose as you mentioned. It makes you want to buy the album, and I don't know why it took me so long to get a vinyl copy(ies) of VW's work, but that will change soon, especially with their new release.
I've listened to this new album at least once every day since it came out. Haven't done that in a while. You're gonna love it.
Vampire Weekend will always bring me back to being in my first apartment in 2009. My roommate and I always used to blast their debut album. Ah, simpler times.
2009 was such a weird time. It was incredibly brutal bc of the Great Recession but also incredibly optimistic
Best album of the year so far, personally! That’s including Adrianne Lenker, Chelsea Wolfe, and Frail Body behind them.
Agreed! Love the new Waxahatchee but OGWAU takes the cake.
@@willt.9654 waxahatchee is in my top 10 (6th place?). Yes, Vampire Weekend’s new record blew my mind.
Only album I sort of prefer is the Julia Holter record
This was one of the better interviews I’ve seen on the Daily Show recently! Nice job!!
I'm glad to see Kosta behind the desk. He's a great host!
Big tennis connection too there haha Ezra's obsessed with the sport
Love vampire Weekend!
They Have just been added to Coachella's Line up. Why I am I not going this year ? No Doubt, Sublime, Blur, and Vampire Weekend . Holy Cow....... This is Life.......
Black Country, New Road and Lana Del Rey too. If only I wasn't broke and lived in America..
sounds like a twinkfest
Sublime ? You mean long beach dub allstars? Bradley K died, there is no sublime
Brooklyn 8th grade class of whenever, where are you now and how did you get so lucky!? The world needs to hear stories about "Mr. Koenig"
Love the new album! Has been in repeat since release!
And what a great host! Actually knew what they were up to and gave space for the 3 of them
As a six-footer who's always been the shortest of his friends, I so strongly related to Ezra
After Rostam left, the bar for short kings was raised a lot.
My babiess
See yeah in Missoula VW. Preeeeety stoked.
Awesome
I miss Rostam
Never heard of them. They seem like cool people
Are they "Better then Ezra?" :D
ha hah lol
Rostam 😢
Firssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssst
and first view toooooooooooooooooooooooooo
The pantybot beat you
@@TheRealBlueValhalla No, it didn't. Check the time or sort by newest.
XD
Team blue
Reacher is nontoxic masculinity
Can’t think of a band with a more unimpeachable career than VW.
Vampires? SOME GENIUS WILL HAVE A EUREKA MOMENT, PUTS A BRAIN, EYES AND OTHER HUMAN BODY PART IN AN ANDROID BODY AND REQUIRES BLOOD TO FUNCTION.. ..
👇 when that happens...
I love Contra. Not sure about the rest. Prove me wrong.
Contra was great but so was Father of the Bride but that's just me
@dominicrichardson9376 The rest is still VW. It wasn't made for you to judge. Everybody has different tastes. What we love and who we are changes. Don't pick and choose, just enjoy the waves.
