- Here is the best way for any player to defeat the warden. It is a very tough mob to beat but in the end, it might just be rewarding.

The ancient city isn’t the only place where you can find the warden. You can find it anywhere in a deep dark biome. And for those who don’t know how or where to find an ancient city, the ancient city is often found deep down under mountains that have a high altitude, and it is often located in snowy biomes. This has helped me locate the ancient city, and I’ve managed to find several ancient cities because of it. The ancient city is likely to generate in a desert, but you can go there and try it there.

Yeah when this update first came out, I learned the hard way with 2 facts. Lol doesn't have to be at an ancient city for them to spawn. And building a tunnel and blocking the entrance to run doesn't save you.
Technically you can find ancient city anywhere (besides oceans), but they mostly occure under mountains and cherry biomes. And they also spawn at around -51 y, which I hope will help someone find it
@@Fantaleyt yes, having your coordinates displayed will show where you’re at, but you can’t just dig to y-level 51 and expect an ancient city right away.

@@allegrifan4933 The warden’s hitbox is quite big but you could still potentially miss some shots due to the fact that you have to be standing at a pretty obscure angle to shoot it without getting hit in the face with a sonic blast. Using multi shot is pretty much a guarantee that the warden will be hit

Warden should atleast drop echo shards with a chance of dropping the Silence trim

if you want something more intense:
netherite armor:
-protection 4
-unbreaking 3
-thorns 3
-mending
-none of the armor specific enchantments (like respiration) really matter. swift sneak would be useless considering you’ve already summoned the warden
weapons:
-sharpness 5 netherite sword/axe
-power 5 bow and arrow
specials:
-1 strength II potion (1:30)
-1 speed II potion (1:30)
-3 turtle master potions (resistance 4, slowness 6, 0:20)
-1 enchanted golden apple
-regular golden apples (optional)
Only put thorns on your chest piece and legs as your helmet will still break first
you should use smite on your sword instead, since the warden is considered an undead mob (smite adds more damage than smite, if i remember correctly!)

the warden is meant to be a punishment, not a boss. You're supposed to sneak around and not summon the warden. That's why you have three chances before it spawns. That's why its drop is garbage.

I recommend a sharpness IV netherite sword, with a bunch of golden apples, or just spawn an iron golem and keep feeding it iron.
why not sharpness v??
1st Easiest method: iron golem that you regen at every single hit by using iron on the golem.
2nd Easiest method: stack TNT minecart and make them explode on the Warden.
3rd Easiest method: kamikaze you by summoning 5 wither bosses, they will handle the Warden with their projectiles.

OP armor isn’t necessary unless you plan to directly fight this thing in which case you need God Apples and potions as well. Better to completely avoid it or bow spam it from a spot it can’t reach.

Peaceful mode is the best way to kill the warden, trust, I use it every time I go into the lost city

Mojang intended for players to avoid the warden, not fight it, and they tried to do this by making the warden a walking natural disaster that gives nothing in return.
How did that work out? not well at all. To this day, there are still players who try to kill the warden for the sheer thrill of it. MOJANG, for every game out there, there will always be players like this, and there is no stopping them from playing the game the way they want and not the way you want.
you can literally kill this thing with just 10 blocks of dirt by suffocating it as it spawns
Or what u can do is drink a potion od turtle master with some instant health pots and regen pot(hardcore method)
It’s more fun if you actually fight it! I used notch apples that I found in the city. No beacon, no bow, just my sword, and notch apples
To spawn it u can place a sculk shrieker and then do a command to make it work and u need to activate it 4 times this works for minecraft Java 1.21+

I actually almost killed the warden in my survival, i was 1 hit from done, i used 8 notch apples and full prot 4 netherite + my big slayer or a netherite sword with smite 4, knock back 2 looting 3 mending unbreaking 3 sweeping edge 3

The warden has 500 health, not 250.
It has 250 hearts, as said in the video, every heart has 2 hp in it, so it has 500 hp OR 250 hearts :)

If you have the best armor (protection IV) just eat one enchanted apple and the warden is very easy

I actually made a warden killing kit that has max mace, totems, turtle master pots, wind charges, xp bottles, gaps, and other things. You would need to carry spare resources in your ender chest if you wanted to kill multiple wardens. It's hella broken if you master the kit.
you can actually trap him a wool(or any block) when he is crawling out the ground and no i dont mean by doing the same thing, you can actually suffocate him because while he is emerging, only the hitbox is on the ground so that mean that you can make the wool cage lower on the roof (while he is emerging) and after he emerge you can make a hole so that you can hit the warden, because the suffocation damage doesnt have time before the warden digs out and escape, you only need a singular punch that AND RUN FOR YOUR LIFE and it will end this man carrier (cause of suffocation)
Killing the Warden should give a reward like a rare Warden Head

My dude, the Sculk Catalyst is plentiful in the Deep Dark as it naturally generates as well as it is a loot in Ancient City Chests. All that time and effort for a block that is rather easily obtained through other means. Just one was enough to make a Sculk XP Storage farm.

I wish it had a tiny chance (like the Wither Skeleton Skull) to drop an item that you needed, say, 16x of to open the portal and unlock a dimension. Would be cool to make it really difficult like that to enter a dimension.

I'm a one weeknplayer and ran into this guy. Mad because I havnt died in a very long time and lost all my stuff when he killed me. My first thought of how to kill him easily was I already made a pit and I was going to make it full of magma blocks.
Honestly just use the turtle master potion, there’s a much lower chance of you getting sonic blasted while your towering up if you do that

Warden can pierce through armor toughness and protection, not resistance. So a full prot IV is quite useless as full netherite

Play on mobile like some of us and see how good your aim is.
Facing the warden, fully enchanted netherite armor is just as good as leather or gold armor. His attacks negate all resistance except the resistance buff. You don't need armor at all going into the deep dark

Yeah i didnt know it was "unkillable" until i spent an hour trying to kill it with dripstone. It worked, i climbed down from my tower, started running around in celebration, only for another fucking warden to spawn. Scared the shit out of me.

I think wardenin the new versions should drop the things for making netherrite armor
Someone suggested making the reinforced deep slate upgrade netherite to even stronger armour, so the warden should drop the template for that, and if you mine the blocks in the portal thing it gives you reinforced deep slate shards that you combine into an ingot or something, sounded really cool tbh

I understand that Minecraft players always find ways to cheese things. But I wish the Warden was even stronger. It should be able to shoot the blasts past the height limit. I think it should even be able to squeeze into pits or tunnels the player digs.
Killed it by placing a bed ans respawning there and dying over and over while killing him. I was the bait while my teammates shoot him. Died for a cause x100 XD
