  • To optimize your rowing experience and get the best workout, the setting of the fly wheel damper lever should be determined by using the drag factor function on the Concept II COMPUTER. The drag factor is a computerized analysis of the rower’s biomechanical features, the particular rowing machine characteristics and the surrounding conditions. With the computer’s display drag factor function engaged the rower adjusts the flywheel damper lever until the drag factor is between 100 and 140. A drag factor of 120 with lever setting between two and five will closely simulate normal rowing. This video shows how this is done. It is quick and easy.
