The fact that Logan gives less and less smiles throughout the series. Weather or not it was intentional, you realize how much his emotion is shut down causing him to smile less and rely purely on facts to keep him "happy"
Logan is repressing his feelings throughout the series as he his shut up and ignored. It’s sad to see how Logan has convinced himself the his emotions aren’t valid and illogical.
I agree but also, I think that’s when then-unnamed Logic was just a goofy character that was transferred from the vines. When Sanders Sides began to take a bigger form, Logic began to have a more prominent character

5 years ago, Logic was not the way I thought he was based on what his first line is, where his spot is, and how he acts in general. It’s nice to see how characters start, and how they progress in the series. In the end, good job Thomas and Joan, and everyone else who helped out.
I love how two years ago when Thomas first showed us the Sander Sides everyone here literally was like: "Thomas.. What the heck was that..?" Now two years later, the Sander Sides have become the fanders' dearlings and such an important part of Thomas' channel. It's amazing seeing the growth of his channel.

SPOILER IN THIS COMMENT FOR THE VIDEO 'Putting Others First - Selfishness v. Selflessness Redux' (AND OTHER VIDEOS?) Did anybody else realize that as the videos when on that Logan slowly got more 'emotionless' or so to say? In the first few videos he smiled I'm noticing as rewatching this series. I believe the last time that I can recall him smiling is during the crofter's video when he got his own crofters jelly. Also if you look at the video 'Putting Others First - Selfishness v. Selflessness Redux' he even says at 13:33 "It's just me Logan. I've taken this form because I didn't want to be invasive.", at 23:21 is ignored and even skipped by the dad himself and, at 36:00 he also says " Not that any of you care, but I am unharmed and I don't want to talk about it. I'm just here to deliver one last fact, then I will do you all a favor and spare you my company." And there are probably so many more things in there that also prove my point. For me, I just wish that he would at the very least smile again. Like, he DIDN'T EVEN SHOW UP IN PERSON IN THE VIDEO. He was in a game like character format. Sorry just thought that I would say this and put this comment. I will probably edit this and put things for Virgil also.
Well, the very first sander sides video was just suppose to be an one off. That's why the sides seems different. but Thomas then realized how much potentiel this concept was and it turn into the web serie we know today. This of course cause Thomas and his friends to flesh out the characters.
Yeah, and adding onto the point of Logan trying not to be invasive, nobody was like, "Oh, Logan, you don't need to worry about that, you'll never be invasive," or something like that, Roman literally replied with, "You very much did not succeed." He is criticizing Logan when Logan is trying to be mindful, even when he shouldn't need to worry about that. It's no wonder he retreated into his shell, honestly. And, yes, I know that Roman and all of them face problems in this video, but that doesn't excuse their behavior entirely, especially when the main 'angst' hasn't even been reached yet. So, for my closing statement, everyone is struggling, whether it is with being accepted, emotional problems, etc.

moi bear I think that’s an interesting question. I mean they are absolute polar opposites on the logical scale. Anxiety in situations isn’t exactly just overthinking or overdoing things. It is a form of logic. It’s just the worse part of those situations that can happen type of logic. And it also means that Deceit would be Patton’s darker side as well. And honestly I love this thought.

Gosh they’re so different now! They feel so much younger in this compared to the newer vids!!! I love it!! Thomas really did a great job developing these characters over these few years!
Oh no no no I definitely wouldnt say that, he's going through character development (maybe not in the way we would like) by starting to conceal his emotions and/or pretend he has none in the first place. I think this comes from him thinking emotions have no place in logic, maybe because they can cloud your judgment. It also could be the felt emotions he didn't necessarily like, (could be a crush or sad/depressing/angry/upsetting feelings) and pushed it down (ik this may sound weird but I swear, I know from experience, sometimes when you push down sad feelings you also push down the happy ones, you push down everything) causing him to feel nothing. I do think its the first one though, it makes for sence in my head
Roman: I’ll learn to love myself! Roman five years later: yeah… that’s never gonna happen… *starts to cry* Logan: *smiles a whole lot* As the series progresses on Logan: *his smile starts fading away becomes more serious, becomes more angrier, and is also developing a drinking problem* Patton: *actually happy and also kinda smart* Patton five years later: *depressed, and has no idea what is going on*
I know right, rewatching Sanders sides is sad in a way because we know what’s going to happen to them. Hopefully season three will start to fix the damage.

SPOILER IN THIS COMMENT FOR THE VIDEO 'Putting Others First - Selfishness v. Selflessness Redux' (AND OTHER VIDEOS?)
Did anybody else realize that as the videos when on that Logan slowly got more 'emotionless' or so to say? In the first few videos he smiled I'm noticing as rewatching this series. I believe the last time that I can recall him smiling is during the crofter's video when he got his own crofters jelly. Also if you look at the video 'Putting Others First - Selfishness v. Selflessness Redux' he even says at 13:33 "It's just me Logan. I've taken this form because I didn't want to be invasive.", at 23:21 is ignored and even skipped by the dad himself and, at 36:00 he also says " Not that any of you care, but I am unharmed and I don't want to talk about it. I'm just here to deliver one last fact, then I will do you all a favor and spare you my company." And there are probably so many more things in there that also prove my point. For me, I just wish that he would at the very least smile again. Like, he DIDN'T EVEN SHOW UP IN PERSON IN THE VIDEO. He was in a game like character format. Sorry just thought that I would say this and put this comment. I will probably edit this and put things for Virgil also.
Well, the very first sander sides video was just suppose to be an one off. That's why the sides seems different.
but Thomas then realized how much potentiel this concept was and it turn into the web serie we know today. This of course cause Thomas and his friends to flesh out the characters.
Yeah, and adding onto the point of Logan trying not to be invasive, nobody was like, "Oh, Logan, you don't need to worry about that, you'll never be invasive," or something like that, Roman literally replied with, "You very much did not succeed." He is criticizing Logan when Logan is trying to be mindful, even when he shouldn't need to worry about that. It's no wonder he retreated into his shell, honestly. And, yes, I know that Roman and all of them face problems in this video, but that doesn't excuse their behavior entirely, especially when the main 'angst' hasn't even been reached yet. So, for my closing statement, everyone is struggling, whether it is with being accepted, emotional problems, etc.

moi bear I think that’s an interesting question. I mean they are absolute polar opposites on the logical scale. Anxiety in situations isn’t exactly just overthinking or overdoing things. It is a form of logic. It’s just the worse part of those situations that can happen type of logic. And it also means that Deceit would be Patton’s darker side as well. And honestly I love this thought.

Oh no no no I definitely wouldnt say that, he's going through character development (maybe not in the way we would like) by starting to conceal his emotions and/or pretend he has none in the first place. I think this comes from him thinking emotions have no place in logic, maybe because they can cloud your judgment. It also could be the felt emotions he didn't necessarily like, (could be a crush or sad/depressing/angry/upsetting feelings) and pushed it down (ik this may sound weird but I swear, I know from experience, sometimes when you push down sad feelings you also push down the happy ones, you push down everything) causing him to feel nothing. I do think its the first one though, it makes for sence in my head
