- In this action packed vlog I head to Europa Park in Germany to check out the parks 2019 winter event! At this time of year Europa Park is full of wonderful Christmas decorations including thousands of lights & trees. Throughout this video we capture the magnificent decorations along with the wonderful festive atmosphere throughout the park.
Along with that I check out the parks brand new dark ride, Snorri Touren and along with taking you along for the ride I also share my full review. There's also highlights from the Winter Starlight Parade and some of the other spectacular entertainment on offer during winter season!

I LOVE THIS PARK!!!!!!! it has a very comfortable yet fun feel about. the detail is amazing. i love the old looking buildings.only built in 1975 and looks centuries old.

The black train at 53:10 is the first one converted from diesel to electric. This train charges at the stops on then train stations within 15 seconds.

What is the best way to get to europa park from the UK? Thanks
Fly to Basel, take the Bus to Swiss main train station, take the train to Freiburg, change train to Ringsheim, change to Bus to Europa-Park. Alternatively, fly to Stuttgart and take Flixbus from the Airport to Europa-Park. The route via Basel is quicker but more expensive while via Stuttgart is cheaper but the bus ride to the park takes over 3 hours.
Or eurostar to paris, then TGV to Strasbourg then a local train to offenburg where you go to ringsheim
@@Xoron Alt fly to Basel and get a rent a car either at the airport or Offenburg (cheaper but you need to get there first). Europa park is king of being in the middle of nowhere, so getting a car is the most convenient (also most expensive) option. On the plus side, it will give you more choice in picking a hotel.
Enjoy your trip if you have one! I would really recommend purchasing AT LEAST the two day ticket though, as one day is not even nearly enough time to explore the park. The queues are never long, yet there's so much to do it can take days! :)

I feel Snori is a ride they can easily gut out and replace with something else. I feel it will be gone before 2027. It could easily fit a maze for Halloween, but
They could easily change it if they wanted to however I doubt they will do unless Rulantica changes

so according to wikipedia, the park averages 60,000 visitors per day. same as the great disneyland in california. also, it amazes me that this park in winter, still has way more visitors then any park in DUBAI. i just saw a few IMG dubai videos and as always.....ghost town. by the way, can you please do a vlog on IMG if you havent already. europa is on my bucket list.
We visited IMG two years ago and enjoyed it!
they really should have gone with a trackless system with snorri imo. looks great overall however
no place for a trackless system. The ride is in a really small small small basement
@@isaacepf7578 And it was done with little advance planning when the opportunity was there because of the fire last year. It took them little more than a year from the fire to making the decision to have Snorri Touren as a little add-on to scandinavia, to having it completed in October this year. All this while being occupied with their main projects Krønasår, Rulantica and Pirates in Batavia 2.0
Noctew and it gives them the opportunity to create a large scale trackless dark ride in the future!
It does ride really well for the amount of space it takes up!
There are some transition scenes missing on the stori ride as it goes fast from underwater to land to ice real fast. I’m wondering what’s going on.
Each scene parallels a themed world from Rulantica, which is consistent enough for me, especially given the small footprint the ride has.
I would of liked to of seen more transition scenes if it was a larger building however as it's in such a small space I don't mind!

I was wondering what you'd think about Snorri Touren when I went on it in November. I wasn't quite as impressed with it on the first go, because we sat in the front and all I could focus on was the empty space between the track and the start of the scenery, I don't know why. But the second time, riding in the back, I thought it was much better.

Visited the UK and Europe and I’m sure I saw every Church and Castle there was. Wished I had of known about the Parks as I could of broken it all up with some fun in between.
History gets boring after a while.
I would definitely recommend a visit to this park!

These parks in Europe really do put our ones in The UK to shame. Why don't we do Christmas themed like this...ours just shut down.

Make sure you have enough days to explore it all, I'd recommend 3 days!
You said the-Snorri Dark Ride is ony a few mins long, Umm it is well over 5 mins long so your wrong there. And plenty of classic Dark Rides that are under 3 mins or just over at Europa Park like the classics: Piccolo Mondo, Snowflake-Sleigh Ride, among others around the world
That new Swans at Efteling is only like 45 seconds long, Now that isn't just short but bloody short!
It's short in my opinion however I really enjoyed it and thought they have done a fantastic job with the space they had. As mentioned there's shorter dark rides located within this park! I look forward to the Batavia re-build!

I would recommend a park called Pairi Daiza in southern Belgium, Its the best zoo I have ever been too, highly themed and interactive. Certainly worth a trip next time you visit Walabi.
