Hey Salt Strong crew. Have you guys considered adding a neccessity package on your website. Just as an example it would be a package including, slam shady swim bait, pliers, 2-3 different kind of hooks, a jerk bait and some cutters. I think it would help stream line what to get for some begginers and take out the guessing game for them. love what ya'll do, have a good one!
I use this setup but with size 8 circle hooks and some fish bites. It will entertain my 6 year old son for hours. I've also used a small split shot weights and suspended this under a bobber fished in and around docks. It's a little easier for him to tell when a fish is on if he has the visual cue of the bobber moving versus learning to feel the line for a bite when its weighted for the bottom.
This is great for keeping kids entertained! Way to start them off early! Thank you for the nice comment! Be sure to follow us on Instagram as well! By the way... did you get your 11 lures for a peny yet? go to www.11lures.com to get yours!
@@Saltstrong Already a member. I've got packs upon packs of every single color and size of those lures! the specks here in NC were killing the Slam Shady 2.0 with Dr. Juice on some 1/4oz Trout Eye jigheads last week!
I like to tie the hooks on with a palomar knot and then pass the leader through the eye like you would for a drop shot rig. Keeps the hooks snug and always pointing up.
Hookup ratio will be better if you tie the hooks straight to line with point up. Suggest not using loop knots. Bait hooks with squid tentacles or small pcs of gulp baits if no squid.
Great question! Make sure to ask this over on the actual blog or in the Community (www.saltstrong.com/) where the coaches spend their time. The blog can be found here: bit.ly/3zsExpZ

That’s a good idea!
Yes. The problem is that we can't keep all of the needed items in stock long enough to make it work.
How timely that I came across this vid! I was looking for a method to catch croaker in particular. thx
Makes so much sense to hook the hooks together. Why haven’t I been doing that?! 🙈
Best way to store it!

Hello, how much for nylon should we take?
Can you really catch big fish with this rig?
thank you

Thanks for leaving the insight!
Does or will this set up work with heavier hooks/weights on a heavier leader (80-100lbs test) for offshore bottom fishing?
Add a swivel to the line end?
You can, it can help with keeping line twists from happening.
Nice little rig for my next trip !!
Glad to see that you enjoyed this video Pablo!
I love to know do you know any type of fishing line regs for king George Whiting for Australia?
Sorry to report that I do not know anything about Australian fishing line regs.
