Hi dear go for the one you feel more comfortable with. If you go for Aupair u know u will be living with a host family and taking care of their kids. If you chose volunteer then you are going to do social work. Working in a Hospital, nursing home or with the handicapped. So I guess go for the one you feel more comfortable with. You are still young.

So I just received my appointment letter from the Nigerian embassy just now which is to hold in 30 days time, so excited but @ the same time I don't have an invitation letter from any FSJ yet as none of them have replied ... So I wanna ask if it's possible I will be given the visa without having any FSJ center yet or would I be given the visa first then when I get into Germany, then I apply to an FSJ

Hi I don’t know about the procedure at the Nigerian Embassy because am from Kenya it might differ but as far as I know you definitely need an invitation letter from the organization as well as the contract, health insurance cover and accommodation. You can’t travel to Germany without this. Unless the Nigerian embassy does it differently. You first need all the documents before booking your embassy appointment

Hi.. after FSJ u extend your Visa with a contract for the Ausbildung or if u get a chance to join university.For Ausbildung u need a B2 certificate.

Ich habe eine gute Freundin aus Kenia und sie ist Rettungsschwimmerin mit allen Zertifikaten und die Lage in Kenia etwas zu finden ist sehr schwer. A certificate is much better. But you can also incorporate the pictures of you want

I can speak German fluencently learnt in highschool but no goitte certificate can that help
You can go and do B2 Prüfung or C1 at Goethe. The certificate is very important. It will help u also once u are here. I also studied German I high school but I still had to get the certificate from Goethe.

Motivational letter and resume needs to be in German but a recommendation can pass.

@@sallylondon6101 Hi dear I happened to be the only black person at my work place. Some pple were kinda racist to me. And they spoke dialects which sounds a little different from the standard German. In other words in the village some pple are not open minded to foreigners while in bigger cities and towns pple tend to be more open minded. But it depends not every village is the same. I guess I was just not lucky. South Germany has dialects. I came to the south.

It depends on how fast u learn the language that is on an individual level. You need to pass the exams though..

Unfortunately I don’t. I was just sharing information and am glad some people found it helpful.

Well I paid for my visa and one way flight ticket and if u have to learn the German language then you also need to finance it yourself In your home country before you apply for fsj.

Hi.. just general questions about yourself and what u do at the moment,why u chose to apply for the FSJ.It’s nothing complicated.
Do you need to have a blocked account to apply for an FJS?
No you don’t. You only need to pay for your one way plane ticket. And have some money for yourself in the first month of being here.
