I have 2.8 turbo with 3inch mandrel straight through....still don't get this sound, I do have muffler though, does yours? You intercooled it? Sounds mint
your best to run a 2.5 stock?stainless steel for good whistle intercooled will help but 3 inch will cause engine to loose abit of power even a stck exhaust cut behind front wheels will make truck whistle loud but may not be the best for the engine

Never had heating issues. I turbo'd it at 360,000 kms n never had any issues.

really i got a 2.7 2000 petrol hilux just turbod even before that accelerated up hills in 4th no problem
