WHAT A GORGEUS STORY! MAX IS BEAUTIFUL, THATS WHY I SAY, "NO MATTER HOW SAD YOU ARE, NO MATTER HOW AWFUL WAS YOUR DAY, AN ANIMAL IS ALWAYS THE BEST HEAL FOR YOU!
Fauna and flora are such a vital elements in our lives, which many just don't understand or even wish to admit to. Without them, we could not maintain or survive this world.
I was never alowed to have a dog, but i took care of a blind stray(he had some eye disease) a couple of years ago. He was my best friend and he waited outside of the building i lived in every morning when went to school! After a couple of years he dissapeared, i thought he got run over by a car, since he lived acroos the road from my place. And yesterday, after more than 2 years, i saw him. His eyes were almost fully healed, but i just couldn't walk over to him,pet him and love him again. I ...
I think about my problems and often take for granted the people and things that I do have which can make me happy today and everyday. So clearly I'm very pleased to have heard this story. TheAmazingAtheist brought me here.

Wow! Service dogs can offer so much beyond extra support! Max is amazing...their relationship s amazing. To see her get up so early to work with Max is awesome. Thank you for offering this chance for Isabel to heal and become more confident about her own abilities! It is defia win\win situation!
This is my cousin Isabelle, she has inspired so many around her, especially her family. This is Isabelle's one shot at having the opportunity to lead a normal life. Unfortunately it is also very expensive, the cost of Max, the training and the room & board will total over $20k. We have started an indiegogo campaign for her, you can go to Indiegogo and search for "Help Isabelle get her Dog Wish". Also please 'like' her facebook page to show her she is not alone! Thank you all of you angels!
Wait what? Max was killed? So...instead of rehabilitation, like he was helping people achieve, he was killed? How does that make sense? What kind of foundation kills their dogs...
I wonder if this is all too good to be true.. the facebook page points www.dogwish.ch/ not in the US and if all these dogs are trained so well - why are they in prong collars?
If you care to read the ADA actually states that nonviolent protection work is a viable task. With the ADA only excluding those dogs trained specifically for aggressive protection (sentry dogs) or dogs trained in Traditional protection work. What is shown in this video is considered passive protection where the dog only shows protective behaviors if their handler is threatened. www.ada.gov/regs2010/titleIII_2010/titleIII_2010_regulations.htm The Department's final rule defines ‘‘service animal'' as ‘‘any dog that is individually trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability, including a physical, sensory, psychiatric, intellectual, or other mental disability. Other species of animals, whether wild or domestic, trained or untrained, are not service animals for the purposes of this definition. The work or tasks performed by a service animal must be directly related to the individual's disability. Examples of work or tasks include, but are not limited to, assisting individuals who are blind or have low vision with navigation and other tasks, alerting individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing to the presence of people or sounds, providing non-violent protection or rescue work, pulling a wheelchair, assisting an individual during a seizure, alerting individuals to the presence of allergens, retrieving items such as medicine or the telephone, providing physical support and assistance with balance and stability to individuals with mobility disabilities, and helping persons with psychiatric and neurological disabilities by preventing or interrupting impulsive or destructive behaviors.

Too bad Cecar wasn't able to help her, family & Max.
God didn't chose anything. It's life.
NO NO NO NO. Protection dogs and service dogs are NOT the same thing. Service dogs can not be aggressive. Seizure alert can not be trained!!
I'm not? lol its a username
Why do all of these "healing dogs" wear pronged collars?
