me and my cat both love this! idk, maybe it’s the autism but i love watching birds, i didnt know any of these breeds but like at the very beginning i noticed the big blue bird wasn’t eating the seeds but storing them in his little gullet pouch, and his beak was kind of thin and sharp which would be good for picking up lots of small seeds quickly, whereas the orange one with black wings and white spots used its thicker beak to crush and eat the seeds one at a time. beautiful video! good for autistics and cats alike!

The blue bird with the black crest is a Stellar’s Jay.
They’re really smart, and will mimic a hawk whistle to scare other birds away from a food source.
They like to cache seeds in trees, and will follow their kin around to spy on them and steal the cached seeds.
They know this, and will fly to numerous spots, dropping “dummy” caches in order to fool each other.

When my guy is getting a little too needy (on my lap, prancing, walking back and forth on the keyboard, etc. while I am trying to work), I put this on and he'll settle in to watch for a bit, then be ok with having had Mom time and wander off. I leave the audio on while I keep working and we both listen to it! Other times, it's like our "Movie Time" in the evening. Thanks!

I tried this with my 5 cats. One is 8, one is 4, and the other 3 are feral sisters that I took in a year ago. My TV sits on a stand and it could have been a disaster. But they all were so intent and on hind legs just waiting for their opportunity. Best picture I have yet of the 5 of them together.

I'm in rural NH, we use to have loads of birds until two events a neighbour took down about 20 trees at the end of August / September since then our Birds are very few, our feeder emptied in a day and a half but for for 3- 4 weeks birds seemed to be gone, the strangest thing is we've not seen a Squirrel since the 8th of September when we had a lighting and thunder storm and the neighbour installed a massive solar panel on their property the size of the side of a barn, where the trees once stood.

Twice a week I have to leave home to go to work for about six hours. I had two cats, Christy the mamma cat and Davy her one year old kitten. They got along so well and they made company to each other but Davy died suddenly and I know Christy misses him -possibly even more than I do- This video has been a great help, because the moment I start playing it, before I leave home, Christy comes out from wherever she is hiding and watches the birds so intently. Thank you for making this great video. P.S. I also enjoy watching it

I was just sending a link to someone who was not aware of CatTV--a wonderful thing--and it was on while I was typing and i just never turned it off. Every time I turn it on, my cat who is a ginger tabby jumps up and smacks the TV. I can only play like three seconds of it, he’s going to end up knocking the TV over. He’s too hyper!!
We had a ginger tabby. He made it 20 years! Had to have him put down a few months ago. This comment made me miss him, because it sounds like him when he was still healthy 😢 hopefully he didn't knock your tv over lol

He smacks it until the TV wobbles, so I had to stop with the birds it made me to nervous lol He's my first orange cat, they are different! Hyper little adorable hell on paws lol.
