I've done that experience 3 times😎 the 3rd was a very wet day, and i was the only person in all groups that didn't spin. I want to try Brands Hatch and Donnington next!
I've just done this driving experience, and I can confirm the cars are quick and you really do have all the power you could want. Tye pick up out of the corners is amazing and sooooo much quicker than any arrive and drive karting experience. You have the option to completely drive as fast as you can handle and that really does mean pushing to the limit which feels like you really have to commit to keeping the throttle flat out into the two or three main breaking areas which is exhilarating! Through the sharp twisty corners with no one ahead you can really feel the down force sticking you to the track and you can get on the power really early and feel the car starting to spin the rear wheels which you have to feather and you feel like a proper racing driver. If you are a petrol head I would 100 per cent recommend this experience. The gears can be a bit tricky but you just have to commit to banging them in! I missed a few downshiftd down the fast straights and in the moment with no engine breaking your left thinking oh crap😂But thankfully, I kept it together 🤣 Just book it! Honestly, it is the best driving experience of my life, and I will definitely do it again. Maybe for my 50th. This was for my 40th.
Exactly, it's a whole different ball game to almost any other 'accessible' driving experience out there right now imho! Once you start getting the hang of it and building some speed, there's honestly no better feeling! Thanks for the comment!!
No problem! All I would say is be aware of how cramped it is when moving the gears, fortunately there's only four gears so it's fairly intuitive to pick up after a few laps. And the clutch is quite heavy so make sure that's pushed firmly before trying to shift!
Do you think I would fit in one of these, I am 6 foot 5 and around 110kg, I really would like to do this one day but It looks like I wouldn't fit, please give me some insight
Hi there! According to Silverstone's website, the maximum height is 6ft 4ins, so contact them if you’re over 6ft 4. The maximum weight is approx. 114,3kg so you're good there! 😁 I do hope you got an answer a little while back and have been able to go!

Well done. I’d recommend Formula Vee as a way to start racing. It’s all about cost effective racing
You should try Palmersport! It's excellent :-)
Nice work mate, must be a whole different ball game driving those in the wet! Would love to try more British circuits!

FINALLY someone said where the bleedin' clutch was! Great little details to take away, nice one!
Think the smile on your face says exactly how much you enjoyed the experience. 👏
Good video mate. Did they take you round in a BMW before going out in the single seater? I saw another video where they did that.
Yep that's right! There's a 10 min run behind the BMW pace car to get warmed up and acclimatised, then they send you out alone for 20 mins!
Thanks for the vid! Do you have any advice for using the gearbox?
