Yeah, last time I saw Lola she still seemed to be a chubber (but not too chubby) teen....now she's very much a young woman with a better appearance and mannerism.
Your kids are great. I know everyone is saying it but Lola is beautiful and PC looks great but I love that he hasn’t lost his facial expressions and laugh. They’re good sports going along and enjoying this with you. Kind of funny in a different way with the kids catching the punchlines before you, explaining them better or delivering a couple (PC). Keep it coming! I hope the kids read the comments too!
Loved this because of the sweet ease you all have with each other. Clearly Penn Charles and Lola have learned they are loved and respected by their parents. Fabulous kids, great parents!
Penn, you do a super job relating to your son and daughter. They clearly respect you as a dad, while hearing your jokes. Thanks for sharing a slice of your role as a father. Keep it up. Empty nest is coming soon. (We got there just this month.)
OMG they've grown up so much! it's always great to see how they're doing but i love that you guys respect their privacy and don't use them every 5 minutes. also penn charles's laugh is still contagious
Love the relationship with your kids here. I liked how your daughter really drilled down on the time travel joke and found a hole in it. "But wait, we'd know about it then..." And your son figuring out the neiiigh-bor horse joke. Smart kids! Are your family meals this fun when you all sit down together? Next up, kids with mom for something equivalent.
the time travel joke didn't make sense to me. because if he went from the time before he told the joke to the time after he told it, he would know they didn't like it...or am I just crazy lol
I think that's the joke. The setup is, "I was going to tell you this time travel joke but you didn't like it, so I won't..." I think the daughter was thinking that wait, if you told us this in the past I would remember it now so...? Now that I think of it, I think I made a mistake or maybe Penn said it wrong. If he had a time travel joke (and he can do the same) it only works if he told them the joke in the future, they didn't like it, then he time traveled back before he told the joke and then told them, "I was going to tell you this joke but you didn't like it..." That explains why they didn't remember it. He hadn't told them it yet and would now not tell it. Of course I'm beating the humor out of this by over analyzing it. Lol. Or I could have missed the whole joke myself. Very possible. ;-)
@@louissivo9660 i meant it DID make sense to me lmao so sorry! yes that was the joke he traveled to the future THEN told the joke then traveled back in time haha
After a long day at work and dealing with staffing issues, I can always count on the Holderness Family to make me laugh and realize that there is so much more out there to be thankful for. Thank you for doing what you do. Please keep being awesome!
Gosh I love you guys! Love seeing how Lola and PC have grown over the years! Your 2 are the same ages as my 2 and it's like they've grown up together. We've been watching you since you started almost. Love you guys so much!
It's even more unpredictable when the teens help with the jokes! 🤣 For the time travel joke, maybe he went into the future instead of into the past! I love that you all have such good relationships with your kids!!!! Ever considered doing a book about raising kids??? 🤔
I thought for sure that the joke about the man falling into the upholstery machine was going to involve him getting stitches in some way. Really enjoy seeing the kids involved!
As a dad to 5 with ages ranging from 22 to 13, these jokes are perfect. You and your children are adorable! As far as the lean beef joke goes, imagine hearing the following from a 5 year old (my nephew): What do you call a cow with 3 legs? -- Lean beef What do you call a cow with no legs? -- Ground beef What do you call a cow with 2 legs? -- Your Mom! And then he's dying on the floor laughing...
A lot of those jokes were funny. Some of them were predictable, but still funny. It's cool that your son knee a couple of the answers. Your kids are funny too! They laughed so hard at these jokes, which was great! Thanks for sharing this video. Lola is growing up so fast! I can't believe how different she looks. Your son is growing up fast too! Where has the time gone? Anyways, thanks for sharing this video again. Take care!
Great to get a laugh or two so early in the morning. Sets the tone for the whole day. Thanks. You two smart good looking kids. I love when they decide to participate in these skits.
I learned this one recently, and I’ve told it a couple of times. We need a girl’s and boy’s name, so I’ll use John and Mary for the sake of telling the joke: John was a shy kid, but the school dance was coming up, so he decided to open up and ask someone to go. He decided to call his friend Mary. So, he waits, and waits, and waits. Finally, she answers, and she agrees to go. John and Mary decide to get a dress and tuxedo, and there is a long line at the clothing store. So they wait, and wait, and wait. Finally, they get their tuxedo and dress. Then they decide to get a corsage. So John calls a company that sells them. He waits, and waits, and waits, and finally he is able to order a corsage. To be fancy, they decide to call a limo. So John calls a limo company. He waits, and waits, and waits, and finally he is able to get a limo. The night of the dance comes, so John and Mary wait for the limo. So they wait, and wait, and wait, and finally the limo comes and picks them up. They arrive at school, and there is a long line to get inside. So they wait, and wait, and wait, and finally they get inside the school. Once they are inside, John and Mary have to use the bathroom. There is a line at the bathrooms. So they wait, and wait, and wait. Finally, they are able to use the bathroom. After she uses the bathroom, Mary gets thirsty and goes to get some punch. She goes to the punch table, and she’s relieved to find out… There is no punch line! :)
The jokes were silly and some funny but the best part was seeing them laugh! My favorite! Also to see how much the kids have grown, both are beautiful! Lola is gorgeous!!!!! I have a teenager, she is in 9th grade, and I see Lola and makes me think of my girl, boy they grow up fast!! Beautiful kids and of course…most fun dad!!!
I spent most of the video trying to figure out the device sitting on the table. I thought it was a lighter, then one angle made me think taser. It wasnt until the end that I finally figured that it must be a 2 way microphone. I think the best part is when dad gets bummed because the kids knew the answer. Keep up the laughter!
Your family makes me appreciate families... that may sound odd. But in my world I lost my dad years ago as a teen. Plus the families around me are broken and don't promote wholeness. Your family and the way you interact is a gift to the internet world 😊❤️
Deadpan Reaction to the “recovered” joke from children of a generation who have never, ever had to sit on an itchy, newly re-upholstered couch or chair that was now Mom’s most prized possession. Plus…Lola’s voice is dynamite and Penn Jr is such a little brilliant guy! 💕
First time on this channel. Watching the reactions of your children, i can feel the love, balance an fun. A job well done. Congratulations and all the best.
I love how now that they're older, they find the jokes slightly funnier. It's especially noticeable with Lola. Maybe she's just learned the skill of the pity laugh! LOL
I'm a high school teacher, so I know that age group well. I've been watching these videos since they were young children, and at some point post--covid I saw Lola become a confident young lady, who is able to think beyond themselves- and not in a condescending way. FTR- it's a skill that few people possess, but you can tell Kim and Penn raised great young adults.

Lola's expressions and mannerisms are so much like mom's. Beautiful.
I thought the same thing
I know and her laugh sounds more mature now
@@dahlilahanderson6928 She reminds me of actor Julia Stiles
That's an understatement: Lola's her spitting image!

Truth: I LOVE the upholstery joke. It had me in stitches.
A knitting joke had me in stitches once
Let's keep this thread going.
Uggh. Thinking of another joke to keep this going is knot easy.
