Yes this story been propagated by tourist guide in Agra … the mirror used to be there in caged bedroom of sahajahan where you can have mirror image of taj mahal .. because he was old and can not stand so, he used to see Taj Mahal from mirror .. I myself had seen there and had seen taj mahal same way when I was a kid and visited decades back … Of course with tourist guide … many times during a yearly history holiday vacation . by the way I had already read her books in the past … great writing … also the host .. giving his best effort …. at least in terms of knowledge sharing with new generation with the original writer. Only post decimalization, one tola became 10 grams 2. Cannon back then did not fire shells that exploded. They fired either solid balls against fortification or they fired grape shot (many small balls) against soldiers.

There is no comparisons between power, precession, range and destructiveness of stationary artillery and those small mounted ones.
