      One of my absolute favourite things to do! I tried this like 5-6 times last year and this was the only time I caught fish. I heard a theory that if the lake is too shallow, during our harsh Canadian winters, it will completely freeze over and any fish will die off. A lot of the other ones that I explored were less than 6 feet deep, some of them were less than 3 feet deep, so I think it makes sense!
