i find it extremely odd when brothers shave their moustache. their face looks odd and i cannot imagine the prophet looking like this. the moustache is there for a reason, trimming it most likely meant dont let it overgrow like the beard. it makes more sense to trim it down so it doesnt go over your lips or become too thick.

Not sure shaving the tash is the opinion of Imam Abu Hanifa. Many of the subcontinental and Afghani Hanafis keep the tash. It may have been said to keep a fasl between the Muslims and non-muslims in Iraq.
Islam also teaches us to be hygienic and groom ourselves. Overgrown beards are not only smelly especially after eating, it looks like armpit hair on your face. So trim your beard and your under south hair! Shave your armpit hair when your trimmed armpit hair smells. Islam is simple. Beard do not represent your iman.
Having a beard undoubtedly represents iman, it’s a clear trait of a mumin, there should be no dispute in this. You can easily take care of your beard and it is allowed to trim whatever is under the fist of a beard.
