Just bought Apple Watch 9 as a gift. White screen of death appeared, then “broken” screen as if someone chopped it. Returning it tomorrow, surprised it’s such a low quality product 😢

First time I got it restarted by playing with it and didn’t know how I did it so I couldn’t get it back this time until I watched your video and the first step worked. But, does this mean my watch is starting to go? Last time was only about a week ago…
Thank you!! Your first tip worked! I hold down my two buttons simultaneously and my apple logo appeared and now black screen disappeared and my watch is working again! You saved me! 😊
Didn't work for me but mine turned off as a result of a drop. Screen isn't cracked and I believe the device is on (I can feel it vibrate sometimes). Still great tips, left a thumbs up.

Mine shattered. Screen worked. Then I suspect may have gotten water when washing hands. Black shattered screen. Replaced screen and LCD combo. Did not glue down because it suggests to test before. Testing proved negative for working 😓 any other tips?
Totally black screen and will not switch on after having gone swimming with it. Very disappointing, as it is only a year and a bit old. I have now just tried about everything to no avail.

Pressing both buttons. Took about 20-30 seconds but it showed the logo & after about a minute with the logo it came on. 😊

Thanks method 3 worked for me by tapping on the front and back screen I was ready to upgrade as thought it was broken completely
