    great video, In my sleep app it has REM and CORE what do the mean?

    • @CPAPReviews
      @CPAPReviews  14 часов назад

      They are different sleep stages.
      1. Wake
      Even though you might feel like you slept through the night, the truth is that we naturally experience several periods of wakefulness during sleep. The Apple Watch tracks these wake periods, helping you understand how often and how long you were awake. Brief moments of waking are normal, but extended wake periods might be an indicator of restlessness or poor sleep quality.
      2. Core Sleep (Light Sleep)
      Core sleep, often called “light sleep,” makes up a significant part of your night. It’s an essential stage where your body begins the process of rest and recovery. During core sleep, your brain consolidates memories, processes information, and prepares your body for the deeper stages of sleep. It’s easier to wake up from this stage, so this is where most people spend time before transitioning into deeper sleep.
      3. REM Sleep (Rapid Eye Movement)
      REM is the stage where dreaming occurs and is crucial for cognitive functions like memory, learning, and creativity. During REM, your brain becomes more active, while your muscles are temporarily paralyzed to prevent acting out your dreams. Apple Watch tracks the frequency and length of REM sleep each night, giving insight into your mental recovery. Lack of REM sleep can lead to difficulties with memory retention and emotional balance.
      4. Deep Sleep
      Deep sleep is the most restorative stage of sleep and is often referred to as "slow-wave sleep." During this phase, your body repairs muscles and tissues, strengthens the immune system, and regenerates cells. It’s the hardest stage to wake from, and it leaves you feeling refreshed. Apple Watch's ability to track deep sleep is vital for understanding how well your body is recovering physically.

    Hey Nick wanted to see if you had a discord or something. I had a question about a previous video where you replaced the air sense motor. Will the message automatically reset?

    • @CPAPReviews
      @CPAPReviews  14 часов назад

      Sorry bro i don't but no the Automatic message won't reset. You need a specific program for this. I've personally tried everything and haven't had any success. I even swapped the firmware from a brand new device to another with the message and the message persisted.

    I had sleep apnea shown on my iPhone health page with notification as this info was not available on my watch. I had the serie 8.
    Now I changed to the new serie 10 and ... I can not fi d anything in the health app in regard of sleep apnea.
    I have iOS 18.1 on my iPhone 11 and watchOS 11 on my serie 10. Living in Belgium. I do have functional blood oxy on my watch.
    Why don't I see any indication anywhere in the health app in regard apnea ?.?

    • @CPAPReviews
      @CPAPReviews  14 часов назад

      Hey bro, previously there has been no info about Sleep Apnea in the Apple Health App. Perhaps you were using a different app. According to Apple the new feature is available in Belgium so perhaps you just need to do some troubleshooting. I'd try unpairing your old watch (series 8) and the series 10 from your iPhone and then repairing just the series 10. Cheers

      @CPAPReviews Today I did first deleted the Health App from my iPhone then I unpaired my watch and paired it again as a new watch (not from backup) and when done I noticed it also automatically reinstalled the Health App. BUT ... still no trace to find on sleep Apnea !!! Even when I do a search for Apnea nothing shows up ! ??
