These little gems of MK just keep popping up. Hope they go on forever. Thanks for the work. As much as I love MK's solo work, I do also miss this side of his talent!
@@ekstradycja Yes an album with a very unique sound that I don't find in any other DS or MK album. What I meant is this solo could be an extract from Alchemy.
@@benjaminlauwick2340 well, not really as you can hear the sound of Pensa here whereas back in 83 Knopfler was using mainly his Dream Machine Schecter Strat (the red one and the famous sunburst), this sound like Pens is amazing mixture of Strat and Les Paul
@@ekstradycja Didn't know that! I don't know much about hardware to be honest. I'm only speaking based on what I hear and feel. And what I hear and feel reminds me of Alchemy ;)
@@benjaminlauwick2340 well, that's because they're are the same fingers :) I saw Knopfler in July and he's amazing, better and better, check out some videos from his last gig ending the last tour in Madison Square Garden, pure magic

Go to 12:55 for Mark Knopfler's solo. You can thank me later :)
Thanks for this.a classic recording.
what a big surprise----thanks for sharing!
amazing recording
Mark Knopfler Number One
Fantastic
When MK was a teen, all he wanted to be was a blues guitarist. Listen to I Think I Love You Too Much...amazing MK blues song.
Ellen Gershenbaum, "I think I love you too much" was a Jeff Healy song. Did MK do it, too?
tls0857 Yes, MK wrote it and recorded it with the Notting Hillbillies! His version is much better than Healey's, imo.
Dire Staits played I Think I Love You To Much with Eric Clapton at Knebworth 1990
Never heard this version before, and wow! This is so bluesy with a hint of rock.
@@KNOPFLERSGOD the best version
MK's solo sounds a lot like Alchemy to me!
? what do you mean? Alchemy is an live album
