we were spoilt for choice comedy wise in the 70,s but this for me stands head and shoulders above them all, Leonard Rossiters comedy timing was magnificent, stiil laugh at all the same parts i laughed at in 1975.
It says a lot about this great comedy that 40 odd years on it is still hilarious, the writing, dialogue, the characters, the standard of acting, is first class especially leonard rossiter.
My favourite all time sitcom. 2 mins 40 for 15 secs no words just pure comedic acting. Leonard Rossiter was and will always be an alltime great. RIP 🙏 X
Then call them out, mate. Tell them to stuff their PC up where the sun don't shine. Thank God I live in a country (Nigeria) where such tosh doesn't fly - at least for now.
These Australian DVDs from the copyright holders ITV Studios and distributed by Roadshow Entertainment contain the outro and intro and the ad break. For example, do you see it saying "End Of Part One" & "Part Two" at the breaks or do they pathetically try to edit them out?
How did they keep a straignt face during recording this!!!! I'm guessing there was a real audience watching this and the laughter is real and not some track.

The best ever sit com. Leonard Rossiter was a total natural. Yes, the sausage in the teapot was perfect acting.
