My dad and grandpa would show me how to do something, take it apart, hand me the tools and say “now” beat me and walk off. They were teaching me to teach myself. Gunner is a good little racer, smooth and tidy lines. I think if they both had similar powered carts, the results would have gone Gunners way. Nice that the whole family was out.

Gunner can race. What I would give to have had that kind of relationship with me dad. I know Mike has that core family values, not saying we didn't it was with 4 brothers and my dad was busy with a lot of things growing up.
Based on the ending commentary it looks like Gunner is going to be more of a Rusty Wallace or a Darrell Waltrip vs a Dale Earnhardt with his driving style. Unless of course he’s racing his dad, then it’s full intimidator!!!! 😂

Something to consider; if Gunner is going to continue racing, he'll come up against more and more aggressive drivers. When DP is 'pushing' him around a little it's instructional. Better to learn how to handle it alone on the track with dad (who obviously loves him very much and has to fix his is cart when it breaks...) than during a heat or feature. Besides, rubbin's racing! You need to tell Mike he can do a dump truck if he buys you a new washer and a washer and dryer for the garage for his clothes 😉. Remember he is going to buy a dumb truck either. Are just order it and have Aaron put it in well Mike is gone on a trip.

Gunner is doing quite well with what he has but there seems to be a little power difference in the carts
