UK roads built for the good old One ton load with a Horse and Cart! Ale Transport's drivers did that with skill. Interesting to see the next generation of tonnage, length and height? Maybe an electric tow truck?
How much does a move like this cost per mile? And about how much was this one? I can imagine that those trucks are just drinking fuel every foot(meter).
He can still be seen there in the pouring rain and strong wind, he has to be there to meet the risk assessments done throughout the trip, and put a stop call in at any moment if something happens, that the driver can not see, but l can fully appreciate your thoughts.
There are quite a few passengers not wearing their seatbelts including some standing up when the vehicle is moving. I suspect the driver may be at risk of losing his licence for allowing this.
@@johnmurrell3175 Nothing to do with the driver. And people moving about on these trucks is pretty normal and done to maintain safety, don't you think that the police would have said something otherwise, or is it that you just don't think?
The Police do use Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles....they buy and use a range of different vehicles in each type in case of recalls... that way they don't loose all of their vehicles
Regarding the bikes. Some European forces have Yamaha FJ 1300 patrol bikes but the majority of forces world wide buy BMW bikes as they make a range of emergency service specific packages. Hope this helps with your question Jim.
Ale is doing great and magnificent job transporting heavy loads.
Driving at its best. Thank you for posting.
Great watching these movers 👍🏻
I saw one of their 8 wheeled tractor units going south on the M6 a few years ago just on its own
1:12 That angle !!!
Getting it under that low bridge was precision work - it looked as though there were only a couple of inches clearance.
Have just subscribed. Thank you for posting, really enjoyed it

I seriously doubt it. Any person that looked like he was 'showing off', would not be in that position long....
Check out the spec on the trojan tractor unit its impressive.
@@petercross8871 I would be showing off if was me, why not!
Darf man in England nur am Tag fahren ? Mfg Michael, Germany, Hamburg
it almost looked like it couldn't fit underneath the bridge
Eu gostei do vídeo o caminhão levando as pomba
Is that not a health and safety issue at about 11:30 with the guy standing in front of the moving trailer?
He is adjusting the travel height of the front bogie to cope with the camber of the road. the controls are on the front edge of each bogie
There is another guy doing it at 21.00

Always fascinated to know why Plod insists on buying BMW products when we have Triumph motorcycles and Jaguar Landrover...... Very patriotic....
Would that be Jaguar Land Rover as owned by Tata steel??As a UK tax payer rather pay for a proper BMW even if it is for Mr plod to drive around in?
Probably because they want something built properly which won't end up in the garage every five minutes...
