- Today we are TRYING & RANKING EVERY NOODLE & APPETIZER at DIN TAI FUNG!! Mom and I taste test the full noodle and appetizer menu, including cucumber salad, hot & sour soup, chicken soup, wood ear mushrooms, sweet and sour ribs, noodles with spicy sauce, vegan noodles with sesame sauce, braised beef noodle soup, Shanghai rice cakes, fried noodles, zha jiang mian, and noodles with diced beef & Szechuan peppers!

Also random idea: Boba roulette with mom & bird haha basically you have different options for amount of sugar, amount of ice, type of tea, type of milk, number of toppings, type of toppings etc and you spin them each and see who made the best drink in the end! Personally never seen it done before but thought it could be fun 🤣

I miss Din Tai Fung so much! It was my absolute favorite when I lived in Seattle. My favorite dishes (the Seaweed and Beancurd Salad and the Shanghai Rice Cake) also ended up on the top of your list haha. I tried recreating them here but I its really hard (if your mom or you has a tip for the rice cake sauce, I'd be forever thankful). Also, when you do a part 3, please try the sweet sesame xiao long bao, those were my absolute no 1 and i wanna see what you think about them!

Delicious! A lot of the appetizers are vegan even though they're not labelled that way too. I was lucky enough to eat at the Din Tai Fung at Taipei 101, so much fun!!!
