Creating an SLR when you have an Interaction Term

Learn how to create a single linear regression equation from a model with an interaction term! This video demonstrates how to estimate the slope of a variable (x2) given a specific value of another variable (x1) in a model that includes an interaction between the two. You'll see how to:
•Identify the beta estimates for the constant, x1, x2 and the interaction term (x1 * x2) from your model.
•Build a linear regression equation using these beta estimates.
•Substitute the given value of x1 into the equation.
•Simplify the equation by factoring out x2 from the relevant terms.
•Calculate the new constant and the new slope for x2.
