Yeah, because it can instantly KO fighters if they are over 100% damage, much like Ridley and Zelda. It's just that you have to deal enough damage with her other attacks to fill up that meter.
@@sixthcandle9001 While it's true that a specific amount of damage needs to be done, he could easily reduce how much damage is on Kirby to begin with to balance it. Also, he could just add a second Kirby (or---if it works---a Sandbag) to hit to fill the gauge.

It’s interesting how the DLC’s Final Smashes are programmed differently. Kirby launches from where he was hit (and stays in the cage) as opposed to from in front of the opponent.

The only surprises here were DK, Zelda, & the DLC crew.
Other than them, it was cutscene = success, startup animation that automatically pulls Kirby out of the cage = success, Bayo = FS not used correctly, & everyone else = failure. All pretty predictable.
Pyra was a big surprise after six cinematics in a row failed.
