DAMN DAMN DAMN!! Way to go tubas! What makes the Boom sound so superior is how the arrangers use the instruments. For example, sometimes the piccolos project either to enhance the melody or to enhance the harmony (examples can be heard in their rendition of the Spice Girl’s Say you will be there. You can hear the piccolo projecting at the point in the sing “throwing far too much emotion at me.” There, the piccolo enhances the melody, and numerous other examples.). Another example of the Boom’s superior sound is displayed in Lizzo’s music. Notice that the trombone have the melody? Southern’s version, for example, uses the trumpets for the melody. Same thing with Truth Hurts. The Human Juke Box, for example, sacrifices LOUD for QUALITY. ....anywho....
U sound crazy..JSU trumpets cant hold a melody.. they struggle!! The quality of SU's sound is unmatched on both technical and power pieces

@@vlonexjoshyy1637 I expect them to find some trumpets🤣🤣🤣 rent some, buy some, do whatever they gotta do.. no problem finding tubas!! But dont keep coming with nonsense about matching SU's quality when ur balance is limited and ur arrangements further expose the limitations. One thing about Taylor and Simmons is they are specific to their product.. they know what works for the Jukebox and what doesn't. Nobody does it BETTER!!!

I am a huge fan of HBCU Marching Bands and I must say this is quite a nice arrangement and nice sound from JSU. Nice to see HBCU's representing music from all genres!
