Fr. Patrick preached this homily on September 10, 2023 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Wadsworth, OH. The Sunday readings are from Ez 33:7-9, Ps 95:1-2, 6-7, 8-9, Rom 13:8-10 & Mt 18:15-20.

I’ve been married for 27 years with 5 kids. Marriages definitely can last and both spouses can remain faithful to each other and their vows.
Mark my words, as a lesson from the state I live in. As soon as this law is passed, worse things will start to happen and lots of crime in your state. Do not lose the grace that the guardian angels provide.
How I wish that our Priests, in Ireland, had spoken like this, before our abortion referendum, in 2018, which was voted, overwhelmingly, in favour of, by the Irish people. Our Priests were told NOT to preach on abortion, or the referendum, and none of them did. May God forgive us.

I can not say enough about what a wonderful thing it is to have a baby! An amazing love at first sight. Your first glimpse of the baby that has grown in your womb for nine months is so indescribably powerful in nature. That baby came from you, by the glory of God and the life-giving of the Holy Spirit. If you have not had a baby, I cannot say enough about how much your life is enriched. You can’t imagine your life without that child ever again. You will do anything for them! Help them in any way you can. God gives you that opportunity, do not say no. Help them! You will be missing one of the greatest joys in your life. Ask any mother. God Bless ❤️

A very good point father. When we talk about a woman’s right to choose. What about the baby CONCEIVED, it’s not a thing, it’s a human being, that is going to grow to be a woman. Where are their women’s rights, do they get the same rights, do they get a choice? Why does the mother get to make the choice FOR THEM.? Where is the distinction? There is none.

I found this homily from our priest back in Ohio related to our abortion issue that sadly passed .Hopefully this won’t happen in here . Feel free to share it with others . Ohio, do the right thing. Don’t just vote with your political party. You have the choice and a responsibility to choose for the rights of a human baby in the womb. A human life that has just been conceived is JUST as much a child as any other child.
When my daughter and son-in-law go to mass with their 7 children, they have had people tell them they need to use birth control, or your children are gross, or other derogatory statements. They have a difficult time going to the Latin mass because it's a long way off from them and they need to take two cars. Why are people doing this?
The priest refused to come and baptize the newborn who was in danger of death, this is something that was handed down by the dioceses, it's on their website, that babies do not need to be baptized after birth when facing a life threatening situation. But Cannon Law, and the Catechism say differently.

Your daughter and son-in-law are doing the right thing and are glorified by God for all their efforts and for being a beacon of hope and truth in this world
Your daughter and son in law will face persecution in this evil world even within the Church. My daughter and son in law have eight beautiful children, and my daughter faced the same thing but never let it bother her. She belongs to a homeschool community of like-minded big beautiful families and they strengthen each other.
If this is the prevalent mentality in their community they may need to move to a different community.
This world promotes trouble.. we are not of this world, only in it.

God please grant Father Schultz & all Catholic Clergy the needed grace to do YOUR will and to bring as many souls to Heaven as possible. Holy Spirit PLEASE give them wisdom, clarity, guidance. Help them Lord to be good, devout, holy, TRUE Priests sacrificing and selflessly serving You and Your Church/people. Please Lord help them have good health of body, mind, soul, Please Lord grant a GREAT INCREASE in devout, good, holy, TRUE Religious vocations. All Holy Saints and Angels please surround and protect all Priests, Seminarians, Consecrated Religious and those discerning a Religious vocation from Satan and all his evil ways. St. Michael ----- Mother Mary protect them all under Your mantle especially those who are exorcists for our Church. Please Lord let them KNOW they are needed, appreciated, prayed for , loved!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Amen!
