- These 3 short interviews with Julie Fudge, James Peach & Megan Maynard at the Benton County Music Festival in July 1996, were taken from a local cable television show, "Friends & Company", which aired twice a week in Paris, Tennessee. Special Moments Video produced the show from 1992 thru 1996, Marianne Hinton was host of the show with Don Nichols doing the camera work.
Julie . I met patsy at a policeman ball in kansas.i went backstage to get her autograph she ask me to stay back there with her because she always had to travel with the men singers. We got to visit and talk all evening when she had to go on stage to sing she said please stay here I have to sing 3 songs and I'll be right back. She wrote me a note with her autograph. Your mom was a wonderful person. She was in a plane crash sometime after that. She was only on that plane because one of the guys had to be somewhere else. And she took his place on the plane I still cry when I think of her.but I tell myself she is singing for God now. I didn't know she had a daughter till now. I lost the treasured note she wrote me in a flash flud along with all we owned.i still thank God for that day I got to meet her in person. God bless you.
Wow. Incredible story!
What lovely young ladies. Patsy would be so proud of her daughter and granddaughter.
Ms Jones I’m so happy for you that you got to meet patsy Cline. She’s my all time favorite female singers.
Nice share sad truth of the matter, she and my mom at 30 look like twins 5 yrs since passing miss both always RIP sweet Queen Virginia Patterson and Vita Torres.... 😔❤🌎🐱🎸
Hi. I am the Megan that was interviewed right after Julie 😊 Thank u so much for sharing this. My best friend's dad came across this video, her mom sent it to her, and then she sent it to me. I remember this day so well and getting to meet her daughter was amazing!
Your accent is just incredible.. wow. Hope you’re still singing!
You are still gorgeous. God bless.
Do you still sing? What a fun memory for you!
I want to hear you sing Patsy’s songs!!!
After all these years, no one comes close to the talent of Miss Patsy Kline. She was unbelievable.
Patsy Cline was the REAL Queen of Country Music. Her singing touches the heart and soul beautifully.
She had the most unique voice! My mom described it best. As rubbery. Faded love. Her recording
Is one of the greatest recordings of all time!
It's Patsy Cline not Kine.
I wish this video was longer. Wish Kitty Wells performance wasn't cut off so soon. What a nice tribute to Patsy. And seeing her daughter and granddaughter was awesome!
Kitty wells died in 2012.
@@kimgallagher1667 It's hard to believe this video footage is 25 yrs old & preserved so well!!!!
@@kimgallagher1667 don’t worry just a random yardbird
Patsy was music with emotion! She had control of the song! Missed so badly!
Just yesterday I saw a movie here on RUclips about Patsy Cline and I wondered were her children were. I love Patsy Cline's music. Thanks for this post.
I'm a BLACK woman and i like Patsy Cline, like country music it relaxes me
Ok, so, why do you feel you must comment you are BLACK, and in all caps?
@@colleenblackwater4792why do you give a shit, glad Patsy is appreciated by different cultures, races and soforth
@@buzzsaw6341 It went way over your head
You give testimony to the power of music to go from heart to heart. God bless you.
Chiffvette Rice, I love your heart felt comment and how sweet your words were.
I have always loved Patsy Cline. I'm very close to her Daughter's age, my being slightly over six months older than Julie. I hope that she will read this too. There's something that I think will cause her a big smile and maybe a tear or two too.
My Momma was from right there in Camden,TN. For many, many years, my Momma's picture graced a store front display of a Photography Shop's window there on the town square, I believe that was the location of the shop. Old Time locals may recall the green eyed beauty, that many throughout time believed was a movie star. She wasn't one and was just Momma to me.
Always on trips back to TN we went to the Grand Ole Opry, from my infancy on. I was the first born of my parents, not sure of my exact age, but I am guessing 18 months to 2 years old at the time this Opry visit happened. I was used to people giving me loads of attention. 😂 So finally while Singers were performing and no attention was paid to me, I started crying, a loud mouth crying little baby girl. No matter what my parent did for me, it didn't calm me. This one Singer, came out into the audience and to me. She talked to my parents a bit and asking where we were from, home was in OK. I was still crying and she asked if she could hold me. They agreed, handing me over. I ate that up plus I hushed up for her! This Singer among so many hits song, had one called, "I'm Back in Baby's Arms". I was in this moment, the Baby in the arms of Patsy Clines! Patsy had the eyes of everyone within rows of her standing there, loving on and pacifying 'Baby Ol Me'. My parents and much later I too, believed her care of soothing a Cry Baby spoke of the quality of a Momma that she was and in missing her own Baby Girl. Many times performers would get back into Nashville from being out from on the road doing shows and turn around needing to be on the Opry that night.
Miss Julie you are stunning,do you sing at all? Your Mom was amazing
I was a semifinalist at the Capitol Music Hall in WWVA 3 yrs. In a row. Sang Crazy Patsy's song. It was a thrill to stand where Patsy, Tammy & other greats have stood! She was one of my favorites!
CONGRATULATIONS !!
My dear Mom was the same age. Growing up, she had Patsy crank'n on our console. The 60's. Small planes/bad weather don't mix. RIP Patsy and Mom.
A lot of celebrities died in the 60s and 70s on planes. So scary
How sad that Patsy's children were robbed of the their mother through freakish circumstances. How sad to know they were denied those precious moments and memories they could've had. I hope they at least had the love they required as they grew up without their mother. This charming woman appears to have fared well despite the tragedy in her early life. God bless her and her family!
My mother died when I was 11
I feel so bad for her, so little and the lose of her mother.
That’s so awesome to see Patsys daughter and her daughter. I love it.
Deepest Condolences & Prayers, and it couldn’t have been easy losing your mother, i can’t imagine how hard it must have been when they brought her home first. prayers & condolences🙏🏻✝️😢💔 your such a beautiful lady look just like your mom, GOD Bless you and your brother
So nice to hear they held something like this especially at this time. Patsy was so beautiful. I do hope her daughter and gradaughter are as talented. They both look beautiful.
Patsy Cline is my favourite Contry singer. My favourite Song is Crazy.I love to sing it on the karaoke at Christmas. I've loved Patsy Cline for a while .I've got all her CDS. I've even got pictures of her on my living room wall. I will continue to listen to Patsy Cline as long as I can.
Thank you for the lovely post
So sad for little children to lose their Mama. The world needs to accommodate woman who have children and not split them up.

It is sad. It is so sad that she doesn’t have many memories of her mom.
Cool . I was 17 in 1996. I never made it in Country music sadly 😞

Just curious, did Julie Fudge, Patsy's daughter ever get involved with music or sing?
I would love to have heard her talk about music in the home, if she had fond memories of singing together and what they sang.
What an amazeing woman. One of my favorites of all time. Hey I wanted to know where Patsy is buried the cemetary she is buried in. It's hard to imagine how the families of the deceased members of the plain crash have taken everything since it happend. For the life of me I can't see this kind of thing happening to anyone because of these people being such good people. I love all of them soo greatly and hope their at peace in Heaven. Love all of these people soo very much. Thank you for this video it truely touched my heart. Love you Mrs Julie soo very much. Your Momma ment soo much to me.
I think Virginia
She’s buried in her hometown Winchester, VA
This is great! Is the Benton Co. Music Festival still around (maybe not this and last year though due to the virus)?
Hello
Awesome ❤️❤️❤️
I read an article about two years ago, none of the children in a study had clear memory of events prior to being age five. My sister was four years, six months when we move from TX. She vaguely remember those horned toads that hissed at you when you caught them but not much else.
How sad we all lost Patsy so young. Thankfully we have recordings of her to fall back on.
Where is the rest of Kitty's performance?
1:21 video bomb! He just upstaged the whole interview! 😂😂😂
Kitty wells! Wow
I wanted her to ask the daughter and granddaughter about singing.
Guy at 1:20 is still drinkin’ bout that whoopsy doo
He realised he was going the wrong way and slipped away with style
Julie looks a lot like her mom Patsy!
Nice voice too
Hello
wow love patsy cline/
She walked by and I fell to pieces!
So sad😓
The man in red be like: hi camra oop bye camra:ps patsy cine is my idol
Her babies were literal babies when Patsy passed. 2 and 4. That hurts my heart. Do they even remember her? Imagine putting your babies here and then denied the opportunity to raise them. Love them. See them grow. See your own grand babies. Patsy and her family really lost everything. Damn money.
Patsy granddaughter definitely looks like patsy
Julie looks alot like Patsy. Very nice to see her and her daughter. Thank you for this.
Good morning Julie!
I think our families may be related.
Love,
Erin
so sad but she seems real nice
She Looks Like Her
She looks just like Charlie
She could Sang!
I've gotta know, who is that beautiful woman conducting the interview ?
oh Lord lol
Whis that she would have let her answer the question of what is you favorite memories of your mom.🧐
I think when Julie hesitated a little bit and then said there were so few, the interviewer kindly let her off the hook. Julie was only 4 after all when Patsy died.
Experts say we really only remember things 5 and on. She was trying to be nice by saying just a "few" things.
Hmmmm they all look amazing for this to have happened in 996 ...lol...someone goofed on the date . it reads on title..Patsy Clines daughter Julie Fudge,Camdem, Tn. ! < 996...
Ivory Coast, thank you, I'm the one that goofed and had not noticed that, I will correct that date to 1996.
“Crazy, I'm crazy for feeling so lonely
I'm crazy, crazy for feeling so blue
I knew you'd love me as long as you wanted
And then someday you'd leave me for somebody new.”
She was lovely! 🏴

Patsy's Daughter Julie was not born until June of 1958, and Son Randy was not born until January of 1961. Someone has their numbers wrong.
The words singers like patsy cline only arrive once in a century or more,,,ye,how true it is,,Some karaoke singers to this day attempt to sing crazy,,,ye,nearly 60yrs after patsys sad departing,,why people took chances flying in bad weather especially those one engine planes,,well,so many once great singers lost lives, let's not forget buddy Holly Jim reeves,,ye,u would want to believe this was extreme messages or warnings in 60s,,,Many movie stars would never fly,,,ye,to this day,,but again legacies live on especially patsy cline and buddy Holly,,Wonder what they would think about way sad corrupt world like today if still here,,??mortified ill bet,,I rest,Jim,cvw
Private note to patsys daughter
It’s pasty Cline music
@2:00 she says her (Patsy) mom not grandma. Family squabble
Reporter is annoying cuts people off too much
No one‘s probably gonna believe me but I am I’m related to her
Well yes I believe you, but do you mind telling me in what way are you kin to her ?
No. No-way. Julie looks more like her mother. That girl does not even look like Julie, her own mom. She probly looks more like her father.
Why would that woman say that? I thought the girl was gunna confirm; "Oh no, I, I don't think so, Patsy? my gramma? No, not in the least" But she just played along.
Set up crash
The interviewer is awful!
Why isn't it Julie cline? All I hear about is paty cline through my old fashioned bf and brother, not me I'm elvis presley Michael sexy Jackson
Hi Allison! When Patsy was in her late teens/early 20’s she married her 1st husband Gerald Cline. After their divorce, she kept the last name Cline as her stage name. She married Charlie Dick soon thereafter and had 2 children: Julie and Randy. Patsy’s legal name was actually Virginia Dick. Since Charlie was Julie’s father, her name is Julia “Julie” Dick. I hope my rambling answer helps! 😀
Also! Since you’re an Elvis fan, I thought I’d share this cool piece of Patsy/Elvis trivia. The story goes that Patsy was back stage during Elvis’s first (and only) Grand Ole Opry appearance. While many country folks hated his style, Patsy fell in love with it. She remained a huge fan of his for the rest of her life. In return, he must have also been somewhat of a fan because he sent her flowers after she sustained injuries in a 1961 car crash.
Horrible interview
Patsy paid for others sins
Julie, You were the mom of Patsy Cline? Are you serious? And you have a daughter who has 14? No way.
Julie is patsy clines daughter, not her mother.
Patsy was Julie's mom. (Jan Griffiths).
Julie just a beautiful carbon copy of her mom's Patsy. She has her momas Beautiful smile .Julie's daughter also a copy of Patsy exsellence ..Not many folks know but . Patsy and Elvis were great friends .They had both been responsibel for Building Elvis Preslys Hospital in Memphis Tennessee! Both

Patsy and Elvis both had the Jordanaires as their backup singers. I knew they were friends, and of all the great humanitarian deeds they did. (Jan Griffiths).
