Patsy plane did not hit a mountain it was pilot error in IFR .

Actual crash was at night in bad weather, poor visibility. Pilot Randy Hughes had recently purchased the 1960 Piper Comanche, tail number N7000P and was not instrument rated when he flew into bad weather, experienced spatial disorientation and did the dreaded death spiral into the woods at very high speed. Tough way to go. All 4 onboard knew they were not going to make it.

His upmost honesty was hard to do. I w came from Michigan and moved to TN, had to visit the site. Very haunting when your there all alone, I always wonder how much was able to place Patsy to Rest, they have pics in the home where she was laid to rest, but never told what was actually recover. RIP, we lost alot of talent,

Tom Lester seemed like such a nice man. His acting as Eb on Green Acres was wonderful... such a funny, entertaining show with so many memorable characters. His "rant" was great and his views about this country are absolutely 100% correct.

He made a comment about how amazing it was that people were picking up parts of the plane yet he did the same thing. Then becomes a Sheriff. I don't know about people. Seems like the FAA would have wanted everything left along and if there were officers on site they should have coordained off the crash site area. I suspect people may have even taken some body parts too. How gruesome is that.

Patsy Cline was in the back behind the pilot Randy Hughs Cowboy Copas was riding up front and Hawkshaw Hawkins was sitting behind Cowboy Copas. They didn’t fly into a mountain side either they crashed in the woods into the ground. The movie only gives you an idea of what happened. If you read a book it is more detailed and more accurate.

Patsy Cline is my favourite Contry singer. My favourite Song is Crazy.I love to sing it on the karaoke at Christmas. I've loved Patsy Cline for a while .I've got all her CDS. I've even got pictures of her on my living room wall. I will continue to listen to Patsy Cline as long as I can.

The pilot is to blame for the crash. He was advised that weather conditions were unsuitable to fly yet he decided to take off.

What a gift to her fans that he shared this tragedy with us. This is her story and her truth . What a sad end to a short beautiful life Patsy was a gift .

Sad story, I was a baby ( in Mexico) when this happened, I just saw a biography movie about Patsy and I was mesmerized with her angelic voice. I didn't expect the end of the movie, it hurt my heart. May she rest in peace.

Such as a sad scene. I rode in an airplane once and hated it. This is why I do not fly and ride airplanes. I drive to wherever I go. Patsy claims flying a plane is safer than driving, which is wrong because not after she and other men died in this plane crash.

The downside to movie biopics is that they take TOO many liberties with the actual facts. Crashing into a mountain was NOT necessary. I agree with other posters.

My daddy was in the Navy when he heard on the news that Patsy Cline was killed in that plane crash.

Should have never happened. Rickety old plane and overloaded w 4 people and all that luggage , a gas gauge switch that didn’t want to work. She should have never gotten on that plane. I’m angry.

Eb was always my favorite character cause of his smile and loving nature.... But now after hearing his politics, I really wish he would run for office cause he understands the problem and isn't afraid to fix it. I am just so grateful he spoke up here cause times are so depressing for so many of us as we feel we aren't allowed to speak, and then are treated like criminals just for being pro-life or christian when we do. I am just so proud of you Eb and Thank you for supporting the Christians and being so brave and bold. God bless. I love you all.
