    Great Memories My very first flight was from Tulsa on Mid Continent Convair 240 to Kansas City. I see the Admiral Drive In is still there after all these decades. When I returned Mid Continent had been purchased by Braniff. Those were such awesome 1950's.

    Wow - that just has to be one of the smoothest landings I've seen, and, of course, how could I not mention the newness of the plane and the great location near that beautiful CF34-8E5? 😍😍😍

    How do you film these? Hand held ALL the way or GoPro, (or whatever) with a suction cup mount on the window? What do the flight attendants say if that's the case? "Hey mister, get that off the window?"

    • @sla31
      @sla31  3 года назад +1

      I film 98% of the footage handheld. I have a mount but don't use it much at all. Nothing beats my arm for absorbing the engine vibrations so they don't transfer to the camera.

    A 4 month old aircraft! Almost having that 'new car smell'! Let's be honest--wouldn't you rather have been onboard that ANA flight to Tokyo instead of heading to boring Tulsa? Looking at the date of travel,this would've been right around the time that winter storm hit Texas,causing misery all around,made nationwide headlines--thick cloud cover all the way! Noticed as you were taxiing at TUL,could see light flurries--if Houston any snowfall as seen in Tulsa,the city would virtually shut down,folks would go into panic mode! How long can an aircraft stay on the ground without being deiced? Assuming your aircraft made an immediate turn back to IAH,would deicing be necessary? Good to see that UA and UE have a full drink service,no plastic bags handed out

    I noticed United will be serving JLN for the dates I may fly out of there in December of this year. And American will not be there anymore. Do you know the exact date of when United starts and American ends. I couldn't find it on the JLN website. As always, I continue to enjoy your videos.

    • @sla31

      American ends their service to JLN on May 31, 2021 and United begins their service on June 1, 2021.

      He clicks on the camera button on the RUclips website or the app and he clicks “Upload Video”. Then he drags the video file into the RUclips thing and fills in all the info.
      He does those steps every day.

    You should really tell us the from and to airports - I know, I could google the airport letters, but I don't want to take the time to do that.

      I put that info in the description. The title is limited to 100 characters and I don't want to waste all of it by saying Houston George Bush Intercontinental Airport to Tulsa International Airport. That's 76 characters alone haha.
