The Slighs don't have a big stage presence, but their cover of this song is top-notch. The story of the British band Badfinger is a sad one. But knowing No Matter What is still being sung today by such talented guys as the Slighs would make Pete Ham smile.
I thought my band and myself were the only ones who appreciated BadFinger when they 1st came out. We performed this from when it 1st came out until not long ago. I may dust it off. It’s so nice to hear young kids playing, singing and harmonizing such as you guys. I thought that OUR old style of playing, singing and harmonizing were dead and gone. Congratulations on you style and sound. I’ve been in bands since the mid 60’s and still doing it I hope you go as far as you want in music, you have all the tools you’ll need. Just beware of BAD people
I'm appreciating the nice clean and fresh versions of these old classics, that I personally grew up with. Come to think of it I was about your ages, when I heard them the first time. Nice job!
What an excellent cover. Spot on harmonies, clear and articulate vocal work. You guys are very, very good. Thanks for making this. I actually enjoy it more than the original version. :-)
So harmonious and sung with passion! So soothing and a great romantic feel! I just watched your Sister Golden Hair cover and I feel the same. You guys are fantastic times 2!!
Great cover version guys. One of my favourite songs from Badfinger - a very underrated band. I think Pete Ham would be pleased with your work. Well done!
Well, I got to give you total thumbs up on this ! First , you all sounded great! Good videography as well. Second ,the location you picked was where I grew up ( Chatsworth ) I use to climb those same rocks off of Topanga blvd. keep em coming!
well done lads one of my fav rock/pop songs question - obviously for the actual music track used for the video is that a live to tape recording or is a stio home or otherwise multi track record? either way its very clean and polished so congrats o a great version
Lovely version, of this famous Badfinger Classic, R.I.P. Pete, Tom, Mike/Micky and keep your music alive Joey.
If anybody had grownup with this song they would call your cover great and exceptional, as I am.
Totally agree with you. Love this song 💖💖💖

You guys a super good job. That sounded great. Kudos on using a freaking Tesco del ray airliner guitar
Great job on this classic song. And I love that guitar!

Great cover guys! 12-string guitar work inspired. Thank you
Wow I'm so impressed !!!
Guess I’m a little late hearing this one. By now you guys could be anywhere. But your music is great and respects those bands of the 60s and 70s.
Amazing my young friends 👍👍

A very competent cover, can't get much closer to the original!

{pretty damn good job
Great cover. Love listening to these "old" hits. You should try another BF hit: Day After day :)
MINT!!👍
very good
Buenísimo cover, suena muy similar al original.
It has got just the slightest hint of Beatles in it. Cool!
Nice job, subtle differences make this song your own,
Nice Walter White bobble head at the start... perhaps a nod to the final song in Breaking Bad (a different Badfinger tune, Baby Blue)?
Good grief! Good music! Ya kinda got a "Monkees" theme going there in the video. Great!
No new video in 8 years, I wonder if they're still playing.
What happened to The Sligh Brothers? Hope they're pursuing something music related and living the dream.
Great job, but could really use the hand-claps.
Voices and harmony are superb but this song needs to be sung in a more energetic and louder way; they sing it too softly.
J and brian look wierd .-.
You look weird.
+PokemonMaster You talk funny
Too perfect. Seems overproduced.
🤗NOW THAT`S PRETTY GOOD, YES🤗
Great job guys
