I’ve been struggling with my sin and have been feeling lost lately. I decided to come to RUclips and search sermons on sin and this popped up first. I’m so thankful I watched this. It was nobody but God!
Probably the best sermon I ever heard on sin, really hit home on my own weakness in the area of lust for women, sin is rebellion towards God and must be dealt with in the life of every believer.
The spirit Is willing but the flesh is weak.To set your mind on the flesh is death but to set your mind on the Spirit is life and peace.
I am stuck in the cycle repetitive sexual sin(pornography & masturbation), I need prayers. I know I need to repent but I just don't know how.
I've tried so many times ask for forgiveness, made changes but still I go back to this sin.
Wages of sin is death,,,,,just STOP YOUR REPETITIVE SIN NOW
I need to get angry about anything sinful about my life. Father forgive and help me Lord
God loves the sinner but hate the sins
Amen. Sin is detestable to God, but He loves us so much that He was willing to pay a great cost for us to be redeemed. Praise God!

Thank you. I did foolishly get distracted after God dealt with me incredibly lovingly but seriously about repentance a month ago. And because I got distracted He withdrew his help from me till I realized how seriously sick (spiritually) I was. No more. Really have to buckle down and let God work in my life. I hope beyond hope I am not beyond saving though I have backslid too far for too long.
We are happy to hear you are surrendering to the Lord. Remember that no one is beyond the Lord's saving power.
@@BellevueMemphis I'm trying. It's a weak point I truly want God to fix and hope that is fixed for all His children, that everyone will be able to understand how far God can reach to save someone.

How can one repent unless God give the power to do so. Because we are flesh and the flesh is contrary to God. I have diligently and seriously ask God to deliver me from my addiction but no victory. I can not change of my on if God don't do it for me. My heart long's for a relationship with God. Pastor I believe even you still have sin in your life as well. And Samson in the end called out to God and asked for strength to avenge his self and God granted him the strength to do so. I believe Samson was granted salvation at the end as well.

I don t like my sin i don t want to sin but it seen to be easyer to do what we don t want to do

This is a very Catholic sermon. Only thing missing is the concrete forgiveness of God in the Sacrament of Penance. Beautiful thing.

@@BellevueMemphis Im fighting gluttony and Lust ....I am a fool to lust but winning against gluttony. Strange how they move - focus on only one and it moves to another, I guess this is why they are referred to as Legion always more than one. Bless you all.

I'm sick of repetitive sin, I really wanna avoid it but it's hard, sometimes I feel like am the worst sinner in the entire world
I wish I could one day wake up and never sin again

Yes help, pray I come out completely from lust for food! Self hate and self-loathing come with it,,, it says why bother I am worthless, need breakthrough
It's holding back God to work completely in my children! And others areas,
Denise, this is such a common struggle, but too few of us connect the physical problem with the spiritual issues which may propel such a temptation. Praying for you to find peace and strength today to overcome that calling and trust the Lord for everything you need.
The bible said if we kept repeating "the same mistakes/sins" over and over again, then we might not be forgiven by God... Why?... because DEATH is only around the corner, and may catch up with us that we have no time to repent, then we are not SAVE (like death by accident, heart attack, etc.)... Christ said, keep your clothes/garments "CLEAN" at all times for you never know when the THIEF (Death) comes in your doorway...
The "THIEF" symbolized "DEATH" and the "2ND COMING OF CHRIST," for nobody knows "the day and the hour" neither by the Son of God nor the Angels but the Father God alone knows...
The bible said, that God is the "GIVER and TAKER" of all His creation's "LIVES"... while Christ Jesus (Son of God) is the "Life Giver" only... Christ said, he who believes in me, and I in him will have the Eternal (Giving) Life... To God, be the Glory, Power, and Honor, in Christ Jesus name... Amen.
Reality
Do not try to make war with your sin, RUN from it. Flee. And also,…PREVENT it. Mathew 5:29
Don't fail to see here, who left Samson who? The Lord! And some teach once saved always saved? Paul in 1st Corinthians 9;27 teaches that a person can become Disqualified. This idea is a result of misunderstanding the Lord will never leave you, He will never leave you but you like Samson can, and in you leaving, the Lord He has left you, it is your sin that has separated you from The Lord not the Lord. In Roman's 1 in the text it say God handed them over to a reprobate mind.
Honestly I feel doomed to spend an eternity in Hell because of my repetitive sins. It would've been better if I were never born. I know God hates the very sight of me. He dares not waste His precious time looking at me. I'm beyond ruined. If only I could undo my life and start over. I feel the wages of my sins and it's so heavy. I feel dead. This is probably how Judas felt: Dead.
God loves you, friend. God is holy and therefore does hate sin, but He sent His Son to give you a path to redemption. Paul had his thorn in the flesh, King David his moral failings, and even the Apostle Peter stumbled from time to time. Seek forgiveness in the Lord and trust Him with every part of your being. Praying for you today.
"This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another." 1 John 4:9-11
It's sad but the greatest thing Samson did to destroy the Lord's enemies was Samsons demise

Yuah in hebrew is god. Not lord. Lord is usually implied his son yusha. The one you call jesus.
