Hey floyd, I really love your videos and you have really great knowledge in plasticity. So why do you make long form video like from beginner to advance . and also course will be really helpful.
@@Pixelfondue this! I'm just learning Plasticity and these have been much more useful than the long form videos so far. Nothing against long videos but these short quick tips are gold
What I hate of Plasticity is that we must write the command instead of a single click on an icon, or assign the 100th keyboard shortcut. Great use of the Parasolid kernel with inexistent interface. It reminds me the first Commodore Amiga 3d modelers.
Very powerful...more clicks in other software...same result, but more clicks. So many options in that tool - generally, The bridge or fillet, would be of secondary importance to the adjoining sheet sizes firstly - very fast operations though - Sense options are clever, but again my sheets would have already been cut. A very good demo of the available functions.
@@Pixelfondue Actually, your demo is excellent, but the practicality of 'sense' in this command surely would already have been determined - the bridged face ( fillet) would be a secondary decision to the faces in my world of modelling. Still though, I should never be closed of to new faster / improved method of working practices where the s/w can save time or offer alternative solutions. Thanks for your reply.
Weird. Bridge surface doesn't seem to come up for me (or any of the commands you seem to have when typing in "bridge") . I'm on 1.1 of Plasticity. Ah nevermind had to update to Studio (unstable) beta
This is just the right amount of information braing can handle.. Thank you.
Glad it was helpful!

Glad you like them! I prefer short form videos as that is where I see a Gap in training... there are many others doing long form training.

great, looking forward using this feature in future builds
Should be a nice one for your toolkit
How do you bring up the search menu to search for the bridge tool? Love all these tutorials! 😊

'hate' !
Everyone works different. I actually wish Modo had this option .
@@Pixelfondue Is there a way to make color in the tool icons or make own custom tool icons?
I'm a big fan of your channel. I have Plasticity 1.0 and it seems it's not shipped with this command (the bridge surface tool).
Its not currently in the Indie/Trial version. That is currently only available to Studio Lic that has access to Beta versions.
@@Pixelfondue Many thanks
@@Indevor Welcome.

Looks like it could be very useful

You'll need the Studio version or wait until v1.2 is released which should be soon.
