Linda, Your DIY’s were absolutely beautiful and out of this world amazing. The devotional was exactly what I needed to hear. I have not been in church but 5 times in seven years since my husband passed away seven years ago from a massive heart attack. I went and set in the pew and cried. I didn’t want the members staring at me. No one at the church checked up on me. When I joined this church; I was told I had a deacon that was appointed to me in times of need. This deacon never called nor visited me. I also had to care for my elderly father-in-law. My mother-in-law passed away six months prior to my husband. I was also grieving her death. My FIL was diagnosed with early onset dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. It was just my teenage son and myself to care for my FIL I find out I had been Purged from the church since I had not been attending. I was devastated. I have prayed to God to take this situation and take care of it. I have not joined an another church yet, but I am trying to find one.
Hey Linda I guess first things first welcome Bella to the family so stinking cute so sorry my condolences to you and your family on Marley. Anyways, on a happier note your projects are always so stinking cute. You’re so talented and such an inspiration. I love the snowman and the little stuffed cookies are just absolutely adorable. I wish you were closer and I could go see you at your craft fair but if I were buying those little cookies, I think I would probably not want them glued in.
Praise is coming hard today. Last night I learned that my mom has breast cancer. Last week they decided she is diabetic. She has already been fighting Parkinson’s and Lupus. It’s a lot but I know God lives her more. Thanks for your word!
I have had breast cancer, and now I am a 7 year survivor. Satan pours out all the problems he can on God's children. He's fighting as hard as he can against us to keep us from telling the story of Jesus and how to be saved. If your mom knows Jesus, regardless of how it turns out, she will be just fine.
Jeanne, I pray your praise is getting easier and that Jesus will continue to be your guiding light as you face this with your mom. I pray that she knows Jesus is with her and to just take it one step at a time. He will never leave you or her and that is something to cling to. I’m sorry I did see this comment earlier, but it’s been a busy craft season…although, I think Jesus has us see things at just the right time. Jesus, I just pray right now that you would wrap your arms around this family as they walk through something that can be very difficult , but with you, all things are possible to overcome. I pray you guide Jeanne’s mom in everything she faces. I pray you guide the drs thoughts in treatment plans and how to bring her out of this as a survivor. Thank you that you are always with us and never forsaking us. I pray that you would provide strength and grace and mercy to this family. Thank you for allowing us to come before your throne with our problems as you hold us tight! I also pray that this family and their faith is not seeded with any doubt but relies heavily on you in this time. In Jesus Name.
Oh my sweetness, hello little Miss Bella, you are such a sweetie!!!! Linda, thank you for ALWAYS reminding me that my Faith is strong and not to get discouraged etc., I hope you know just how much joy, peace and laughter you bring to my heart.. Thank you so much!!!
I watch all your videos, start to finish, multiple times. I LOVE LOVE the crafts you do as well as the messages at the end. You are the only one that has said these things in a way that makes sense in my brain! That said... How in the world did I miss you losing Marley!! I was devastated when I had to put my Oliver down!! I am so sorry for your loss!! It was about a year after Oliver passed that my daughter was home from college, went to her dads for the weekend and came home with five adorable, but filthy, flea infested, fluff balls, about 3 weeks old, and put them on my bed! 😲She wanted to take them back to San Diego with her because they have a Humane Society that will take all cats and not harm them. They will live at this amazing preschool type place for cats until they are adopted, or forever. My baby, Annie had gotten used to having the house to herself and was NOT happy! So I gave all 5 a good scrubbing, 2-3 times per kitten, with dawn dish soap, treated them with some Capstar flea medication by breaking one pill into 5 little pieces, and bundled them all up in old dish towels/rags and told her to keep them in her bath tub. We made it into a soft fluffy bed for all 5. We fed them chicken pate, and water, and liter box was at the opposite end of the tub. She and I both used my shower so their home was never disturbed. Sacrifices right. LOL About 2-3 weeks later, my daughter was out with friends and I came home to a house with all my craft stuff drug out all over the living and dining room floor and five of the cutest fluffy faces popping up form the mess! I could not be mad at all! It was too cute. But for the next month we could not keep them safely confined when we weren't home because this little feisty guy could not only slide the shower doors open, but he could also open the bathroom door!! Which is how they came to live in my room and this feisty little calico, siamese mix came to be Milo. He has the same feisty personality as my Oliver who was a Siamese Himalayan mix and both are so smart! They both talk, and follow directions quite well. Very trainable, like a dog. They both play fetch, and have TONS of energy!! But last night was the best!!! Annie and milo greet me at the door when I come home from work. Thats when I feed them. Annie is a grumpy, but lovable 10 year old calico mix, also a stray that I bottle fed from one week old. She has been the baby and spoiled by me and she was not liking this new baby in the house. So sometimes she is a bit of a diva and wont come to eat until Milo has settled in to the end of my bed for the night. Last night was different because she never came. It was pouring rain and I couldn't find her anywhere in the house. They are both indoor only cats. So thinking she had to have run outside when I came home from work, something she NEVER did, I kept getting up and going to the porch and calling for her. Milo would try to go out but I wouldn't let him and every time I came back to bed he would charge at my feet and bite me! Hard!! There was blood all over my feet. I couldn't figure out what he wanted. I knew he was trying to tell me something and I did all the usual things. Nothing made him happy. Finally he got so mad that he kept charging at me, biting and biting! I thought something was wrong with him. I was thinking he need to go to the vet. I was scared that if he wouldn't stop I would have to put him down!! Why wasn't he telling me what he wanted?? He usually leads me to what he wants. So finally I had to shut him out of my room so he laid in the kitchen next to my room and cried and cried! Still, obviously, not able to sleep, the sun starting to rise, and the rain the hardest I had heard it all night, I made one final attempt to find Annie. I searched the entire house, again, and even though I had not been in the garage at all I opened the door to the garage and called her name. She wasn't there, but she finally heard me calling her and by the time I got to the front door she was on the porch soaked from head to toe and crying!! She ran straight to her food, and as she inhaled it, I dried her off with those old dish towel/rags, wrapped her up in her favorite blanket and bundled her up in my bed with me... exhausted, we both slept there for a few hours, and Milo, who got lots of love and praise after he just had to go on to the porch to smell around and come back in to smell Annie, and accept the slap on the head she gives him when he has to smell her behind, I try to tell him girls don't like when boys smell their behind but he doesn't seem to care, lol, laid in his spot at the end of my bed watching over her the whole time. About 15 hours later, he is still watching her every move. 🥰 💞💞💞 Anyway.... after that long novel, I think you should keep the cookies loose. I think it would be adorable to display next to a Santa cookie plate and put a cookie or two on the plate. The no faced snow man is super cute too! He has his own personality. Definitely need to find a blanket like that. My grandma had one when I was a kid. Wish I knew where it was now!
I love the snowmen!! I think I would like the cookies to stay unglued, because I could see my grandbabies playing with them and put them in and out of the bucket. Sooooo cute-as usual!
These are so cute Linda!! Great idea using the damaged bedspread!! I love watching your little Bella play!!🩷 I am glad she is helping heal yours and your husbands hearts. 🩵🩷 Tfs
Oh my gosh Linda! Melt my heart! Yur new fur baby is adorable! I know its not Marley, but this is a new journey on your path, enjoy every minute, I lost my Punt around the same time as your loss, and I too have a new fur baby peeps, different, but still enjoy him! God bless you & yours!
If I were buying the bucket o' cookies, I'd want them glued in sin e the fabric is glued in, it's not that much more storage and easier to keep it together, and, as far as the faceless snowman...I love it! So different, so original! Anyone can buy a snowman w a face,, but not one without! Keep up thr great ideas Linda! I love everything you create!
The gingerbread cookies are my favorite! I think don’t glue them in. God is good! I really needed to hear what you read at the end. It was exactly what I needed to hear today. Thanks.
I haven't even finished the video, but had to stop and comment on Bella! She's adorable!!! She's a lucky fur baby to find such a wonderful home! Makes me smile... so happy for you.
Oh boy! A teeny kitty crafting buddy! Always makes crafting interesting! I think with your cookies, I wouldn’t glue any of it together! That way the bucket could be used other seasons… and pin the bow on. I like thing interchangeable! And grand babies would love to play with them!
Welcome Bella❤️ She’s adorable! It takes time for the heart to heal, I’m sure she will help. Thank you for your words of encouragement, even when you were hurting, you reached out to help others. You are a blessing.
Love your little fur buddy. My cat of 14 years died in his bed a few weeks ago, I’m heartbroken, but not ready to open my heart to another at this time. Love the snowman.
