I haven't had that problem everytime something has been wrong, broken or missing they have sent a replacement I once hade something wrong with the print on the jurassic world Giganotosaurus and I asked for a new part they just sendt another Giganotosaurus figure and when I bought the Inquisitor transport scythe the mail delivery tok some weeks and they didn't answer my emails so Lego just sendt another set later and I got in within 2-3 days then I found my first order in my neighbours garden they were not home but it had been out in the rain for a couple of days I told Lego that I found my first order and they said thank you for telling us you can keep both but yeah this is sad news

Yeah, it's really tiring seeing Lego Star Wars reviewers always complaining about every single little thing, so it's nice to see someone who can talk about both the good AND the bad of a set.
I feel the prices are actually pretty fair. When you compare the two models, both are roughly $80, when adjusted for inflation. The 2023 model has more pieces, but a higher parts density. The 2011 model has a better cockpit, but a much more boring core section with a bland design, compared to the new model. Both have 4 minifigs, but the print quality and detail is expectedly better on the new model. The 2011 model is slightly longer, but has thinner wings and less greebling to detail the body of the ship.
I wouldn’t mind the price so much if the quality of the sets were better. But if I’m gonna pay $80 for a set this size I want it to be near perfect. The fact it can only hold one figure and there’s been no attempt to detail the other side of the wing is so disappointing

Plus can you really say it’s for kids when the main advertised sets are hundreds of pieces sometimes thousands costing anywhere from 40-180 dollars. Plus the UCS sets like seriously. Lego is lowering the quality purely to see what they can get away with on their best selling theme. The other themes need that high quality so people are more inclined to buy them but with Star Wars they are pulling a Disney with hey it’s Star Wars, it’s popular enough that even it’s it’s horrific in quality and accuracy we’ll still make sales

I will agree about Sabine needing arm printed. I'm not on the team that's like, IF IT DOESN'T HAVE ARM PRINTING, ITS A BAD FIGURE!!! Because sometimes a minifig doesn't need arm printing. However, Sabine has one purple pauldron and one blue pauldron in the show, that extra bit of color as an arm printing would have done alot in giving this minifig personality! Well, I suppose wait until Firestar Toys puts out custom arm printing!
@@UTU1O That might work, but Bo-Katan has grey arms, while all of Sabine's body is brown. Sure having the blue would be nice, but the arms in general will create a bigger contrast that goes against the rest of the figure. You'd be better off pulling the arms of a Din Djarin. While the bits of armor don't have color, the arms at least match the body, which at least give it the facade that Sabine just didn't finish painting her armor yet but still feels like in full mandalorian armor.
@@UTU1O All good, it happens! Beside, I feel using Din Djarin is a better choice even if he lacks the color in the armor. The new Bo-Katan with the arm printing is only one 50usd set, and I think most people that actively buy star wars sets have at least 3 more Din Djarins.
the complete blank underside of the wings is just unacceptable. with they way the play feature and the in universe ship works, they will be visible. and lego used to know this, like on the bad batch shuttle top fin, where they copied the studded part on the other side flawlessly. i just genuinely do not get this
The only thing I can think of is that Lego decided to keep the underside clean in order to keep the wings from becoming overly thick. One layer of plates/tiles can make a noticeable difference

The reason the inquisitorcs helmet looks like it came out from a castle theme is because the design of the character's helmet is based or seems to be based on a Maximilian armet, with the bellows on the visor and the fluting on the helmet
That's it. I'm saving up for MOCs from private designers. They are more expensive but the people designig them at least care about their own work and take some pride in it.

This new Ahsoka minifigure looks great but I still prefer her Lekku from the 2016/2020 versions they are beautiful in my opinion but I six which was to be based on the live action version

Those figures alone will be worth more then the set in 3 years time, and the price some people pay for retired boxed sets these days is probably half the reason lego has upped its prices. I personally am fortunate enough to get %20 percent off on any set 💪, so I’m not complaining and I think the mini figures in this set are awesome.
I bought this set for the mini figs and immediately checked out alt builds on rebrickable. There are a bunch of them that make good use of this set, adding a lot of value to what would have otherwise been very skippable. My only other complaint is Sabine really needed some pauldron arm printing. I even thought about stealing arms from the mando battlepack but none of them have arm printing either.
When I saw that helmet It reminded me when you used a knights of ren's helmets for your medieval figs so I was like "I bet goldfyre is going to like this helmet" I couldnt be more accurate 😄
Legos quality has gone down significantly yet their prices keep growing. I believe the people in control of Lego have their IQ dropping parallel to their quality.

What was that Minifig you were building at the end? Like a different outfit for Sabine Wren or another character altogether? Also, what Helmet is that at that ending minifig build as well, the one with the yellow visor, that Helmet looks awesome detailed! Is that Helmet Official Lego? Because it almost looks Artisan
I really wanted to pick this set up, but dang this is the first time I’m going to definitely reconsider based on watching a review. 80 bucks is just absolutely ludicrous for what the ship actually does.
I actually didn’t realise that the wing detail wasn’t replicated on the bottom that’s disappointing but for me the biggest downside it not getting the droid parts for huyang

Apart from the ridiculous price my main dislike of this set is the underside of the wing. There is such an easy and great looking way to avoid that. And for 80 bucks it should be mandatory that the wing looks good from both sides. Still gonna buy it at a discount for the figures 😅
Yeah that sticker step order problem my be related to Lego studio(Yes the Lego designers use a broken free CAD tool just like use MOcests.) and they just didn't bother to fix it.
Good review. I have the original T-6 and it still looks good, something that is unusual as old Lego sets tend to date pretty quickly. What is really odd is that they have pretty much doubled the part count but not improved the look at all. Shame as no-one not even brickbob has managed to capture this shuttle well on the moc market either. They appear to have improved the Ghost in the latest iteration but still better off putting together the playscale brick vault vers.

Really think the opacity on Ahsoka's torso is rather unfortuante. Lego's printing should be top notch all around; I'm not sure why they struggle so much with skin tones on torsos.

I get you points on the Sabine fig but it is accurate to the show, just missing some arm print. I don’t like her dulled down new outfit but at least it’s accurate. It is a Mando helmet and I don’t see and issue because she is a Mando. She should be the most colorful figure in the lego Star Wars universe and wish the show would have kept her that way. Pretty dull colors for an artist.
Lovely review. Great looking set and absolutely superb minifigures all around. It'd be nice if Lego applied the same care and attention to detail to Clone Troopers, but I'm told that I'm "impossible to please" for mentioning it
I would say I still recommend this set but will wait for discount to get it. Like I live in Hong Kong and we rare pay the full local retail price for most of the set
licenced lego sets have just become insane from a price perspective,we are almost at a point(if not already there)where lego will be 100% exclusively for adults and collectors as i honestly cant see the average kid/parents being able to afford to buy it anymore,when you look at what you get in the £0-£50 uk range it really isnt great,even the £50-£100 range has only a handfull of sets that i consider to be decent value and if you are a fan of more than 1 genre its tough to keep up without an endless supply of money!
If you’re not into the figs, , then the ship isn’t good enough to justify it imo. If you want a ship, I might recommend Ambush on Ferrix, it’s got way fewer cut corners, is about 80% interior space, and can be as low as $35 without figs. I haven’t gotten it myself though so I’m not 100% sure, but I am picking it over the T6.
The Lego Asshooka Minifig has more emotional range than the live-action!! All of the Minifigs that can change their expression have more emotional range than the Vulcanized Man-girlz of D+ SterWerz.
Hey MDF. I have the 1st T-6 boxed however i did get two so built one then gave it away, i cant wait to get this and i think its only $120NZD which means the northen hemi are paying a lot for this. The next day , Just had a look and we pay $140NZD sorry. which is still not bad as the Yavin Base set work out to 26 odd cents a brick which is expencive even for use as its normal in the 20 cent a brick range. or cheaper,

i love when these set reviews are made after days of online hate for these sets. Basically every set nowadays for star wars is shit upon by some form of fans. But then i see these reviews and i am so impressed by the Sabine figure, just leagues above the pictures they do it an injustice. Also Sabine does not come with DC-17s she had those guns before any other lego star wars character ever did in the original rebels wave of sets, they are Mandalorian blasters, more specifically WESTER-35 blasters. Those are her blasters not rexs not codys not any clone i dont care that lego incorrectly places them in newer sets to cheap out on the original DC-17s we had all because they resemble a handgun too much.
Also i 10000% agree with you Sabine NEEDED arm printing. Even if they cheap out and neglect the arm braces the shoulder pads are more than necessary. They are a fundamental part of her, her culture, her design, her connections to others, her artistic expression of self. The very thing that instantly allows to recognize her even when she changes armor color every season. The right pad has her number marking her as Spectre-5 more than a crew they were family. and the left shoulder pad features an owl, its debated by fans the meaning but canon sources have given us essentially 2 narratives, it was described to be a convor owl by Ezra the same type that follows ashoka and would be beautiful because it adds her into their small family once she joined season 2. The secondary meaning could have its roots in the fact that her clan once stood by the side of Lady Bo Katan Kryze and served under the faction of Nite-Owls, so that is richly steeped in history culture and clanism. Why would they not give us her shoulder pauldrons we NEEDED them on her. We needed them on all 3 variations of her but Lego doesnt bother

I’m a big fan of Rebels and it’s nice to see the T-6 Shuttle again but my goodness these prices are out of control!

This new Ahsoka minifigure looks great but I still prefer her Lekku from the 2016/2020 versions they are beautiful in my opinion but I six which was to be based on the live action version

that's why i only buy sets on clearance/sale. probably will wait till black friday to maybe get this set depending on how well the ahsoka show does

Those figures alone will be worth more then the set in 3 years time, and the price some people pay for retired boxed sets these days is probably half the reason lego has upped its prices.
I personally am fortunate enough to get %20 percent off on any set 💪, so I’m not complaining and I think the mini figures in this set are awesome.
I bought this set for the mini figs and immediately checked out alt builds on rebrickable. There are a bunch of them that make good use of this set, adding a lot of value to what would have otherwise been very skippable. My only other complaint is Sabine really needed some pauldron arm printing. I even thought about stealing arms from the mando battlepack but none of them have arm printing either.
God i need that Pearl Dark Gray helmet for knights so bad. Appreciate the honesty in the review, ill wait for it to be $60 or less.
When I saw that helmet It reminded me when you used a knights of ren's helmets for your medieval figs so I was like "I bet goldfyre is going to like this helmet" I couldnt be more accurate 😄

Legos quality has gone down significantly yet their prices keep growing. I believe the people in control of Lego have their IQ dropping parallel to their quality.
One thing that will instantly earn you a subscriber is honesty! People calling bad sets good is infuriating. I didn’t get the original version so I was planning on getting this but after watching your review I’m starting to side against it. I want the ahsoka and droid figure though sooo we’ll see
I get your point but sometimes it's just an opinion tbh, sometimes a set you find really bad someone might just really like it but yeah some of the LAN members are in fact not very objective about some sets, they will try their best to every negative parts of the set

Also, what Helmet is that at that ending minifig build as well, the one with the yellow visor, that Helmet looks awesome detailed! Is that Helmet Official Lego? Because it almost looks Artisan

I actually didn’t realise that the wing detail wasn’t replicated on the bottom that’s disappointing but for me the biggest downside it not getting the droid parts for huyang

Apart from the ridiculous price my main dislike of this set is the underside of the wing. There is such an easy and great looking way to avoid that. And for 80 bucks it should be mandatory that the wing looks good from both sides. Still gonna buy it at a discount for the figures 😅

Yeah that sticker step order problem my be related to Lego studio(Yes the Lego designers use a broken free CAD tool just like use MOcests.) and they just didn't bother to fix it.

Good review. I have the original T-6 and it still looks good, something that is unusual as old Lego sets tend to date pretty quickly. What is really odd is that they have pretty much doubled the part count but not improved the look at all. Shame as no-one not even brickbob has managed to capture this shuttle well on the moc market either. They appear to have improved the Ghost in the latest iteration but still better off putting together the playscale brick vault vers.

Really think the opacity on Ahsoka's torso is rather unfortuante. Lego's printing should be top notch all around; I'm not sure why they struggle so much with skin tones on torsos.

I get you points on the Sabine fig but it is accurate to the show, just missing some arm print. I don’t like her dulled down new outfit but at least it’s accurate. It is a Mando helmet and I don’t see and issue because she is a Mando. She should be the most colorful figure in the lego Star Wars universe and wish the show would have kept her that way. Pretty dull colors for an artist.

Lovely review. Great looking set and absolutely superb minifigures all around. It'd be nice if Lego applied the same care and attention to detail to Clone Troopers, but I'm told that I'm "impossible to please" for mentioning it
I would say I still recommend this set but will wait for discount to get it. Like I live in Hong Kong and we rare pay the full local retail price for most of the set
licenced lego sets have just become insane from a price perspective,we are almost at a point(if not already there)where lego will be 100% exclusively for adults and collectors as i honestly cant see the average kid/parents being able to afford to buy it anymore,when you look at what you get in the £0-£50 uk range it really isnt great,even the £50-£100 range has only a handfull of sets that i consider to be decent value and if you are a fan of more than 1 genre its tough to keep up without an endless supply of money!

If you’re not into the figs, , then the ship isn’t good enough to justify it imo. If you want a ship, I might recommend Ambush on Ferrix, it’s got way fewer cut corners, is about 80% interior space, and can be as low as $35 without figs. I haven’t gotten it myself though so I’m not 100% sure, but I am picking it over the T6.

The Lego Asshooka Minifig has more emotional range than the live-action!! All of the Minifigs that can change their expression have more emotional range than the Vulcanized Man-girlz of D+ SterWerz.
Hey MDF. I have the 1st T-6 boxed however i did get two so built one then gave it away, i cant wait to get this and i think its only $120NZD which means the northen hemi are paying a lot for this. The next day , Just had a look and we pay $140NZD sorry. which is still not bad as the Yavin Base set work out to 26 odd cents a brick which is expencive even for use as its normal in the 20 cent a brick range. or cheaper,
Aprreciate the honest review lego has to stop throwing exclusive minifigures in underwhelming sets. Like the Ahsoka and Sabine but im gonna have to pass on this one unless it goes down to around $50

I don't know if you have that mandalorian Starfighter from a couple years ago but the build is very similar in its function and shortcomings.
i love when these set reviews are made after days of online hate for these sets. Basically every set nowadays for star wars is shit upon by some form of fans. But then i see these reviews and i am so impressed by the Sabine figure, just leagues above the pictures they do it an injustice.
Also Sabine does not come with DC-17s she had those guns before any other lego star wars character ever did in the original rebels wave of sets, they are Mandalorian blasters, more specifically WESTER-35 blasters. Those are her blasters not rexs not codys not any clone i dont care that lego incorrectly places them in newer sets to cheap out on the original DC-17s we had all because they resemble a handgun too much.
Also i 10000% agree with you Sabine NEEDED arm printing. Even if they cheap out and neglect the arm braces the shoulder pads are more than necessary. They are a fundamental part of her, her culture, her design, her connections to others, her artistic expression of self. The very thing that instantly allows to recognize her even when she changes armor color every season. The right pad has her number marking her as Spectre-5 more than a crew they were family. and the left shoulder pad features an owl, its debated by fans the meaning but canon sources have given us essentially 2 narratives, it was described to be a convor owl by Ezra the same type that follows ashoka and would be beautiful because it adds her into their small family once she joined season 2. The secondary meaning could have its roots in the fact that her clan once stood by the side of Lady Bo Katan Kryze and served under the faction of Nite-Owls, so that is richly steeped in history culture and clanism. Why would they not give us her shoulder pauldrons we NEEDED them on her. We needed them on all 3 variations of her but Lego doesnt bother

tbqh, sabine kinda stuck out like a sore thumb visually before and only really kinda worked visually because of Rebel’s more cartoony aesthetic.
