Just a little suggestion from personal experience. If you're looking forward to reading The cruel prince ( folk of air series). Do not put your entire focus only on romance and their enemies to lovers relationship. I did this and somehow felt like there was a lack of connection between the two of them. Maybe I should have focused more on the plots instead but since most booktokers were recommending it as enemies/lovers I somehow didn't thoroughly enjoy it. Again personal opinion ; enjoy the plots more instead of waiting for their enemies/lovers relation

Not sure if anyone has recommended yet, but pretty much any Ilona Andrews. The hidden legacy series is a slow burn, action packed romance fantasy. They tend to do Alpha male romances, but the female main characters are so strong and independent that they make a good match. Definitely try them!

Ember in the AShes is one that I have been wanting to pick up for a while now anyway, so that is great. The romance in Mistborn is actually one of my favorites because it is just so well done and it gets even better in book 2 and 3.
Nalini Sing's book series are so good. Love the psy-changeling series as well as the angel one. I recently read Suzanne Wright's phoenix pack series (as well as all the spin offs) as well as the demon series. Loved them. The demon series is just amazing.
The collector's society by heather Lyons , it's actually a series and has 4 books. It's a retelling kinda. Romance being a plot. It's so good. I really liked it.
Besides Elizabeth Hunter's Elemental Mysteries series...love it. "No secret stays hidden forever. A phone call from an old friend sets mysterious book researcher Giovanni Vecchio back on the path of a mystery that has eluded him for centuries. Little does he suspect a young librarian holds the key to an ancient secret, nor could he expect the danger Beatrice De Novo would attract. Now both will follow a twisted maze leading from the archives of a university library, through the fires of Renaissance Florence, and toward a passion that could destroy them both.” I love Karen Marie Moning's Fire Series. Love how Mac changes through the books in this Human/Fae/Immortals world. "In the blockbuster Fever series, Karen Marie Moning creates a darkly erotic and paranormal world, torn apart by the struggle between humans and Fae. Now in a convenient eBook bundle, here are the five thrillingly sexy novels featuring heroine MacKayla Lane: Darkfever, Bloodfever, Faefever, Dreamfever, and Shadowfever. If you like BDB....try The Protectors by Theresa Gabelman. More PNR not Fantasy but good! Marie Treanor's Am Awakened by Blood series (3 books) Blood on Silk, Blood on Sin & Blood Eternal. It is really good. "Elizabeth Silk is writing her doctoral thesis on vampires myths and travels Romania for research. When her blood awakens Salomen she is both frightened and attracted to him. A centuries old vampire, Salomen was slain by betrayal (his lover) and buried for over 300 years." Elizabeth Hunter's "Irin Chronicles (7 book series) Kindle Edition. From Book 1: Breathtaking romantic fantasy by USA Today Bestseller, Elizabeth Hunter, author of the Elemental Mysteries. Hidden at the crossroads of the world, an ancient race battles to protect humanity, even as it dies from within. Ava Matheson came to Istanbul looking for answers, but others came looking for her. A reckless warrior guards her steps, but will Malachi’s own past blind him to the truth of who Ava might be? While ancient forces gather around them, both Ava and Malachi search for answers. Whispering voices. Deadly touch. Their passion should be impossible… or it could be the only thing keeping them alive."

I was literally on the hunt for a fantasy/paranormal romance read this morning. I have Angels' Blood sitting on my bookshelf right now actually but I'm struggling a bit to get into it. I was a huge fan of the Women of The Otherworld series by Kelley Armstrong in high school. It's a 13 book paranormal romance series with a few tie-in anthologies. The first two books are about werewolves, but later books have witches, necromancers, half-demons, and more! If you haven't checked it out, I would highly recommend it! The first two books weren't my favourite because I wasn't as in love with the main couple, but the couples rotate throughout the series, and there are pairing in this series that I absolutely ADORE and would consider my favourites of all time!
@@katyareads221 I wanna give it a chance, since I've read series before where it takes a book or two to get into it. I think I'm not so much one to love the Alpha Male love interest archetype, so maybe that's why it's not clicking. But I'd like to finish it anyway.
@@ainsleemcnamara7514 you are so right. Often I've read book 1, found it lacking and really got excited in the next book. I think it was the writing style for me. I've tried other books by the author and did not care for them. She is much beloved by many readers and it might just be me.
Women of the Otherworld is one of my absolute favorites! I also don’t love the first few, but Dime Store Magic may be my favorite urban fantasy book ever.
You should give Sharon Shinn a try-- she's writes Fantasy and Sci-Fi, but all her books have a strong romance subplot. She has a bunch of series you might like: Samaria series: about genetically engineered angels and their evolving position in a human colony on another planet. First book: Archangel Twelve Houses series: second world fantasy about a band of travelers/secret agents fighting for the political rights of people with magical abilities. First book: Mystic and Rider Elemental Blessings series: second world fantasy with elemental magic, a messed-up royal family, and a remarkably beautiful religious system. First book: Troubled Waters
This definitely such a great list of recommendations. I loved the romance in Mistborn as well. You've made me excited for some other titles like Serpent and Dove.
Angel's Blood is an UF, so kind of yes, also PNR, but most UF are paranormal. If it's a 'real world' kind of thing with paranormal elements where it's known (somewhat anyway) or a society that has completely changed after the reveal of supernatural beings, or something to that effect, it's an Urban Fantasy, if the world doesn't know about the supes, then it's paranormal, if it's set in a fantasy world that doesn't have our technology or anything like that it's just fantasy (sometimes with paranormal elements). But yeah, so as an example, the Lux series by Jennifer L. Armentrout? Started out as a paranormal, but by the end of the series the cat is out of the bag (that's the idiom, right?) so it became an UF. The Shadowhunter books are also UF because they have a set governing system in place, even though mortals aren't aware of it, at least that's how I see it and have seen many others categorise as.
you should definitely read Stolen Songbird by Danielle L Jensen! it's another beauty and the beast retelling and the world is so fascinating and the romance was also *chef's kiss* 😍
As a suggestion for the question with angel books you should read the fallen searie. I fell in love with it from the first book and it gets more intressing from book to book!
Ive been so busy working at the hospital recently I have forgotten about books and doing things I actually enjoy haha. After watching this video I have picked up a couple of these books! Time to start reading again. Starting with A court of thorns and roses (I know shame on me for not reading it already). Keep up the great content. Subscribed!
@@PeaceLoveBooksxo Yes! If you enjoy some fantasy, politics and very angsty, slow burn, haters to lovers romance, you'll really enjoy it! I love Arin and Kestrel's story! Still one of my favorites ❤💕
OMG! All of the books you've recommended were on my TBR 😅 except Angel's Blood. I was not so sure wether I am gonna read them at first, but now that you recommended it I am definitely going to give it a try 😃. I can't live without a romance in a book. Thank you soo much! Love your channel.
The Premonition series by Amy A Bartol was a great angel series I read several years ago! I haven’t read it recently but I do remember flying through it.
We have pretty similar taste in books so because I loved it I highly recommend The Winter King by C L Wilson (if you haven't read it) - it's adult fantasy romance so you can expect some steamy scenes. Even though it was pretty long I flew through it because I adored the romance :)
This is the video I've been waiting for! I love fantasy and don't often mind when it doesn't have a romance but I've been craving it recently! I had to skip over Mistborn because I've just started it and was actually disappointed that the wasn't a romance so this has given me hope! Great video 😊
I'm the same way! I have to have at least a little bit of romance (preferably angst) in order to like the book. I've started and DNF'ed books that other people love just because I feel like it's slow and they don't keep my attention.
Ironically enough people usually knock on Sandersons romance writing. I always enjoyed vin and elends courtship. Their relationships progression is so good. Keep reading you wont be disappointed.
Not really an angel romance but a different spin on the fantasy romance is The Brightest Kind of Darkness series by PT Michele. Awesome series! Also the Lux series by Jennifer Armentrout also phenomenal. Obsidian is the first book in the series. I've recently discovered your videos and am just amazed by all the recommendations here! Thank you!
I really liked the romance in Angelfall by Susan Ee, the Penryn and the End of Days series. It's all about angels, obviously, but I found the romance to be quite swoony 😍 I also really loved The Girl of Fire and Thorns by Rae Carson......good romance there as well!!!
Do you know the Fallen series? I only watched the movie but just ordered the books. It is a Angel romance kind of thing too. There is heaven and hell and the world between. Daniel is the main character and a fallen angel. He wanted to love and got cursed by Lucifer to always love a girl who dies every time he kissed her and after years went by, she is born again and they meet again and she forgot everything about him and then everything continues but this time it’s different. You could check it out!❤️
Ohh, and if you ever want to find some book recommendations, search for a RUclips video about those and watch the videos while scrolling down the comments! This will bring you biiiiigggg success!🤩😂❤️
Her Elemental Mysteries and Elemental World Series is also good....a vampire series....female protag is a librarian...love this author. The book covers are beautiful and the stories even more. Book 3 "Force of Wind" has a scene that not only made me cry but sobbed. I had to take a break after this series.
Okay I'm just asking cause I'm new to your channel but you have read The Throne of Glass series right? By Sarah J. Mass... just asking since you love her but have not mentioned that series in the last 2 fantasy recommendations♡♡ by far my favorite even over a Court of Thorns and Roses ♡♡
I understand the feeling with Mistborn. It was something I couldn´t read in a single day, because it was high fantasy and not the kind of fun and light book I usually read. I take my time reading it, but it´s definitely my favourite fantasy series. it´s a book you don´t forget after reading it. I hope you end up reading the other books and you enjoy it too! ❤️
PeaceLoveBooksxo I actually listened to the audio so it was a breeze to get through, so I’m not sure... There are different POVs (three main ones) and I’ve heard that that was a struggle for some since the book wouldn’t tell you whose POV you were on. If you do pick it up I hope it’s easy and the writing up to your taste because it’s a book I adore!
I love romance in fantasy too, but I also just love fantasy so I loved Mistborn /despite/ the romance actually lol I was yelling at her the whole time “girl you best not compromise the revolution because you have a crush!” But also I highly recommend Angelfall if you love angel romances lol I was obsessed with that one. It’s also cool as a dystopian. I haven’t read the others you talked about but I’ll be checking them out!
Hi, I'm a little late to your videos because I've always been a sci if and fantasy reader that poopoo'd romance, but in this world as we're currently living it, my escape has become romances. I've read 30+ romances in the past two months! I have 2 recommendations for beautiful fantasy novels that have amazing slow burn romances as part of the plot. Well, I'm sure I could come up with hundreds but two popped into my head while watching this video... 'The Oracle Glass' by Judith Merkle Riley and 'The Lions of Al-Rassan' by Guy Gavriel Kay. I want to thank you for all your romance recommendations! They've been a godsend!
If you like angel romance I recommend the premonition series by Amy A Bartol. It's older & IMO is criminally underrated. Again, I've never heard it mentioned online.
I’m not a big fantasy fan either but urban fantasy has become my go to in that genre. I’d add The Bargainer Series by Laura Thalassa, which you have mentioned in the past💕 I loved Book One, Rhapsodic and the rest of the series is available on Kindle Unlimited 👍☺️
First, thank you for all your videos. For YA I was thinking of vampire academy and other series from Rachelle mead but maybe some are more paranormal romance. Less famous ones you may not have heard of : the bargainer series by laura thalassa or deadly beauties by c m owens (they are others in english but I read them recently so they came to mind easily). Thank you again

MY FAVORITE! The Premonition Series by Amy A Bartol is so good! It's about Angels and a infatuated/stalker Fairy/Vampire who you'll end up loving! And reincarnated soulmate/best friend. It's a love square not triangle! It was written so well you won't get frustrated. It's hard not to love them all. Even the bad ones. And its on Kindle Unlimited! Fallen by Lauren Kate is a really good angel romance. Also, Daughter of Smoke and Bone.
The first book of Fallen series is really good but the second one I couldn't finish it, it was so boring :(
We have pretty similar taste in books so because I loved it I highly recommend The Winter King by C L Wilson (if you haven't read it) - it's adult fantasy romance so you can expect some steamy scenes. Even though it was pretty long I flew through it because I adored the romance :)
Anna N ooh yes! I own a few CL Wilson books and need to read them!!
I love shadows between us 😭😭😭💀
This is the video I've been waiting for!
Mistborn as a romance.......I honestly never thought of it liked that.
Irin Chronicles by Elizabeth Hunter is a fallen angel romance series
ChelseaLovingBooks oooh thank you! I’ll check it out!
Her Elemental Mysteries and Elemental World Series is also good....a vampire series....female protag is a librarian...love this author. The book covers are beautiful and the stories even more. Book 3 "Force of Wind" has a scene that not only made me cry but sobbed. I had to take a break after this series.
this video was so helpful!!! I needed this
Okay I'm just asking cause I'm new to your channel but you have read The Throne of Glass series right? By Sarah J. Mass... just asking since you love her but have not mentioned that series in the last 2 fantasy recommendations♡♡ by far my favorite even over a Court of Thorns and Roses ♡♡
I also recommend the relentless series by karen lynch if you are looking for this type. Also pawn by karen lynch because i love fae storys
I think it depends on the world and what else is included but from your description I would probably say paranormal.
Angel Fall series is really good. I read it couple years back and I highly recommend it
Spinning Silver from Naomi Novik has two ships and they’re my favorite!
Mirnatius I’ve heard the writing is hard to get into! What did you think?
PeaceLoveBooksxo I actually listened to the audio so it was a breeze to get through, so I’m not sure... There are different POVs (three main ones) and I’ve heard that that was a struggle for some since the book wouldn’t tell you whose POV you were on. If you do pick it up I hope it’s easy and the writing up to your taste because it’s a book I adore!
yayyy! i get so excited when i see that you uploaded
Nayema Graham ❤️❤️
I love romance in fantasy too, but I also just love fantasy so I loved Mistborn /despite/ the romance actually lol I was yelling at her the whole time “girl you best not compromise the revolution because you have a crush!”
But also I highly recommend Angelfall if you love angel romances lol I was obsessed with that one. It’s also cool as a dystopian. I haven’t read the others you talked about but I’ll be checking them out!
Just started reading The Shadow Between Us, and I hear Alexandria with Azula’s voice.
I was surprised to learn recently that literary agents class paranormal as fantasy - so this answers your question about Nalini Singh😊
Hush Hush is the best Angel Novels ever
One good book that is under rated but cute is Eliza and her monsters the author is Francesca Zappia
If you like angel romance I recommend the premonition series by Amy A Bartol. It's older & IMO is criminally underrated. Again, I've never heard it mentioned online.
Have you read Caraval? If not, I think you might enjoy the romance in that series 💜
Jane Garcia I have! I actually read Caraval as an arc before it came out and wasn’t really a fan!
Angel blood is urban fantasy - my favorite series!
It’s an older angel romance so not sure if you’ve already read it, but one of my favorite. An angel for Emily by Jude Deveraux.
foxfire77blue I haven’t heard of that one! Thanks!
A fantasy romance book with angels that I really loved was "Daughter of Smoke and Bone" by Laini Taylor. It's a trilogy and I loved it.
A Curse so Dark and Lonely - Book 2 is even better
aurorainblues I’m so excited to read it!!
I was stuck on what to read next and your video helped a lot! Thank you😊 Also, I'm not sure but I think paranormal is a fantasy sub-genre x
an ember in the ashes series is AMAZING i can't wait to read the new book once i get it for christmas :)
Ugh! A Curse So Dark and Lonely! Got me into the romance fantasy genre. ❤🥰
Angels’ blood!!! I love Nalini Singh❤️❤️
Elisa P I love Laura Thalassa! I read Rhapsodic and loved it, I just need to finish the series!
Since you like angel fantasy romances you should really read The Soul Guardians Series by Kim Richardson, it’s lengthy but definitely worth it.
Angel recommendation: fallen series by Lauren Kate YOU HAVE TO READ IT.
I loved The Shadows Between Us!
This is my favorite genre combination! My favorite is the ACOTAR series. I also loved the Guild Hunter series by Nalini Singh.
ive been seeing a lot of negative reviews for the shadows between us but idk i personally loved it
I'm late! But I still wanna recommend you The Bird and The Sword Duology by Amy Harmon! It's so good! Has cute romance too!
I would recommend Wrath & the dawn duology it's awesome.♥️♥️
lalalalala kikikiki I read the first book and wasn’t a fan! I can’t get into that author’s writing 😕
@@PeaceLoveBooksxo oh :((
Got hyped after you led Slytherin slip to discribe the romance of the first book
READ LUNAR CRONICALS! ( Sorry for the bad spelling), and it is SOOOOO GOOOOD! The romance is fonamanal, and there's a new couple every book, its the best thing ever,
The Bridge Kingdom by Danielle Jensen is such a fantastic enemies to lovers fantasy romance!
Angelfall by Susan Ee I loved it!!!you should definitely read it
Definitely one of my all-time favorites!!!!
Inescapable
Intuition
