  • Well, Deburring tool designed to remove burrs from metal deburr holes and is widely used in car engine works also it's know as a Deburrer. For this Restoration we will use Extremely rare stained oak wood. I traveled more than 80 kilometers to make this beautiful Restoration.
Let's restore it and turn a rusty Deburring tool into a Perfect one. It has very sharp tip and corners, with those rust and Cracked handle it looks a little bit scary. For me it's quite interesting project since for handle material I decide to use bog oak that is more than 8 thousand years old and is very hard to find. I used Saw and sawed this wood for 2 hours, that was insane work.
Handle: The Handle was grinded and polished to a perfect shine.
Ferrule: It is a part that holds a handle and Tip and is made of Copper tube.
Tip: I sanded a tip with sticky circles.
I found this rusted burr remover in my own yard, where once in ancient times were the master's workshop so took it to restore. It was restored mainly with my hands, Firm Lathe was used for handle and ferrule making. The best choice to remove rust of metal or small parts is to use sandpaper also it is good for sharpening. For mirror finish a good idea is to use a natural beeswax with linseed oil to reveal all the beauty and texture.

I've got 100s of a 100+ year old Juniper trees that were chained down 50 years ago, laying all around my property near the Grand Canyon. They're a type of Cedar, so they rot slowly, and are beautiful wood. But, they're nothing compared to Bog Oak.
What a find, and what a beautiful job on the whole project!

That oak is called most commonly bog oak
Very rare and very expensive, i think you should haul it home before someone uses it as firewood for camping!
Can be "created" by fuming pieces of oak in ammonia fumes, obviously not black all the way and not the same, but it's the closest you can make artificially
