I would continue to use that mineral wool insulation on the wall over the dryers. Insulate the wall and then have the guys hang 5/8 drywall over it. Nice and fire resistant. Stay away from foam insulation with the gas dryers, that stuff is flammable.
We use to have to go to the laundromat to wash large comforters. Ive since started buying quilt type lighter weight blankets so we don't have to do that.
I believe that I would try placing some plastic industrial curtains, like those used in warehouse walkways to reduce air inflow, over the open windows. They would need to be attached at the top of the windows only, so as the dryers airflow demand increases the plastic would flex and allow outside air in. When the dryers aren't running they would close, These should lower the building heating bills. You could experiment by installing a scrap of heavy plastic, slightly weighted at the bottom, to see if this would be feasible.
make sure the insulation you use that directly touches the dryers is special burn/heat resistant or remove for summer before that for sealing the gaps use foam or some other form of soft sealant
I have an old vendo Coca-Cola machine that dispenses bottles. I always get a kick out of emptying the coin box, even though it only takes a dime, and I supply the dimes. lol
One way to bring vending machines income up is tape a $5 bill to 1 out of every 100 cans of soda . Tape $1 bills to 1 out of every 20 snacks . Same there as to soap vending . Try this and i garenty within 30 days you will see atleast a 20% increase in vending sales
@@investfourmore yes, I am currently installing induction fans hooked to 90degree thermostats. spray foamed the dryer wall above but has to be coated with fireproof paint. I own building so some easier to stomach that work
Mark, Greetings 🙏 Put up an indoor thermometer back there and monitor temps for peaks and troughs, to indicate future problems or reasons for past issues. Adding forced intake and extraction, you get to control temperature more consistently. Is it wrong for me to want to see a solid number? Gradual consistent increases and plateaus mean more in the long term than a boom in the short term and a 💥 in medium? 🖖🙏
I wonder if there is some way to capture the heat from the dryer exhaust. Taking it inside directly would probably be too humid. One other thing. Do you need to ruin a cleaning cycle on these machines? I do one every 30 loads on my front loader. Supposedly, fabric softener can really clog them up. I use afresh in mine. Thanks for the video!
Much less stressful and less issues here than the small one. It’s frustrating hearing you complain about your workers and people not doing the job properly. I can’t take the small one anymore 😂😂.
Why aren't you cleaning the lint off the dryers and putting up insulation yourself, can't imagine running a vacuum cleaner once a month more then 15. minutes ? If the drink machine doesn't work and your not willing to fix it, why don't you dispose of it instead of having dead equipment laying around making your place look like a scrap yard or you not caring about your stuff?
Because I have 2 laundromats, a liquor store, a real estate brokerage, an online business that includes making this video you get to watch for free, 7 or 8 flips going, and 40 some rental properties. I don't like cleaning up lint and that I asked someone else to clean up multiple times and pay them to do it. would you? If have watched any videos I have attmepted to fix that machine about 5 times including buying parts for it. DO you know how to fix it?

The irony that I am watching your laundromat video while actually at a laundromat is painful.
Washing large comforters for the wife!!

I guess I'm kinda weird but, I just like the laundromat vids.
not weird... awesome!
It's a good thing that you count those washers as a single sum because you mix those coin buckets so many times!
There is a method to my madness

nice
It's always interesting to see the highs & lows you experience in this business. Most people have no idea LOL!

You're welcome!
cold will come through any open dryer drawers, it is what it is unless you put powered louvres in
Yes, but you can limit how much cold comes through in other places.

Seems like some of your workers are pretty dumb. If you have to tell anyone twice, they don't know what they are doing.

Buying smartshield insulation be better to use behind the dryers. Its a foam core reflective insulation.
why are there so few seats there
Did Google get all fixed?
yes!
Pink foam board is so much cheaper than spray foam.
That was just one option
16:26 the dryer says 00 but its still spinning
Insulation 😢guy sucks
Wow that was a real pathetic insulation attempt. Put in a higher R value at least. haha
