they should add a preamp push-pull knob to just push the neck pup ever so slightly. other than that, it's nice sounding - it just sounds like a neck pickup with the tone knob between 1 and 2. The playing at 4:15 shows that you could probably get some very warm, juicy tones if you tweak the amp but then you gotta ask what it'll do to the bridge pickup
I'd take the neck pickup ot if the tone circuit and rewire as 1 bridge no tone just volume, 2 bridge and tone circuit, 3 neck with just volume.
Has anyone compared the tones of this guitar against the Brad Paisley tele?
Fabulous sounding guitar like the neck pick up idea to .great for old time swing jazz blues .Garage punk .Stuff like that .Even T Bine Walker ..nice review well done .interesting fun guitars to .got that twang and sound ..
I'm relatively new to guitar, so I'm wondering why the hidden neck pickup would be good for garage punk... Can you explain?
Nice guitar but the secret agent pu is awful..you can barely hear it and its too muffled
i mean its under a pickguard and further away from the strings so ofcourse its gonna be more quiet than the bridge one.. Trogly fixed that by lower the bridge pickup i think? i forget what he did, but i think it sounds great.. but to each there own
@@codyrobbins5667 I keep seeing these articles about how lowering the pickups gives better tone, but in my experience it's better to set em hot. I've had my strat pickups way up high for decades and when I experiment with lowering them, it really takes away a lot of 'punch'...
Brad Paisley also uses slap back delay to bring out the hidden neck pickup. Try that
Great sounding guitar! Love how it looks from the neck up, but that paint job and pick guard look like a bad Ed Hardy painting. Robble Robble!
I love the guitar but the middle position is absolutely nasty. I hate it
Amazing
Love mine
Authentic??? Wait a minute...
