Lionfish are an invasive species off the East Coast of the United States, The Bahamas, and the Caribbean. Lionfish were first sighted of the coast of Florida in the early 1980's and appeared in The Bahamas in 2004. Since then they have continued to multiply and inhabit almost every marine eco system in the Carribean and Bahamas, including the coast of Southern Eleuthera.
This is their story told by three young Eleutherans and a verteran fisherman.
