In the European campers gass cylinder is not allowed inside the camper. It should be stored outside and gass can be carried through a rubber or metal pipe inside the camper's kitchen.Inverter may not be required coz most of the camping places provide electricity.For the safety reasons campers are not safe on the public places in India.
Don’t think there are any dedicated camping sites in India… if at all ,in very few places….so have to park in public places….
Inverter is must, unless you have solar panels on roof..
Uncle could have modified the van in more stylish way,but with limited budget may be that wasn’t possible…
Also no mention of toilet ???
Wonderful job, use fiber to reduce weight. Wherever possible.

I think it would be really helpful if you could share the details of where it was built. Budget builds is need of the hour, not everyone can afford to invest 5- 10lacs let alone even more. And there is the cost of the vehicle to consider too. And though Mr. Anil says he's spent only 1.5lacs, it looks so much more expensive as in it doesn't look like there is compromise in quality which is great. And even the designing is done well.
The only issue is registration, I don't think many RTOs would endorse that on the RC. But hoping that will change soon.
