Been using these on the World Times for a while now. They are a bit soft, and scratch easy. However, they keep the screen from getting scratched. They are pretty cheap, so when they scratch, I just replace them. The watch "crystal" remains perfect underneath. I really like them

I have installed it on all of my casio watch inclufing my gw5000u.. It has been more than 1 year & it still scratchless.. I can say that these screen protectors makes the plastic screen if casio so tough that we don't even need to buy a g-shock anymore.. the regular casios are as tough or even tougher than g-shock in terms if screen longevity.. we can just change the screen protector if it has already scratched up.. herein Philippines 1 dollar for 5 pcs is crazy cheap..
I can't wait to see how these hold up. Was just looking at a set on Amazon for the Gshock squares, but the reviews weren't very good so I held off. Please let us know what you think about them after using them for a while.
I'm interested to see how it holds up. Putting screen protectors on drives me nuts because I can never seem to get them on perfectly, not aligning just right, bubbles under the screen, etc haha (with my phones anyway). Depending on how your followup is I'll likely pick some up!
Bit late I know but try using a sucker like the ones to stick Christmas decorations on glass I use this on phone protectors to line it up better and keeping fingers away from the under sticky side
Got one for my Seiko SNK809, CASIO MDV106, CASIO MDV106G. overall not bad, the film does cause a little more glare. I've submerged the watches in water while washing my hands and the film stayed on the watchface, I guess anything to keep the mineral glass from scratching will be a good investment. Hmm what about smudge proof film? Wonder how that would look on watch face? Likely give your watch a frosted look and blur / hide watch visibility. Just thinking out loud.
Where can i get glass replacements for these? and for how much? I accidentally cracked mine from the edge. I have the D109 model. But I am guessing the body of both the watches are same.
Probably a matter of cost on their cheaper watches. Found this on the net, which may be the original reason Seiko didn’t put sapphire crystals on their divers (and why the Russian divers still use acrylic on their divers!): The yield strength of sapphire is in the neighborhood of 2.25 GPa. The yield strength of mineral glass is around 75 GPa. The modulus of elasticity (how easily the material deforms) for the two: sapphire - 250 GPa, and mineral glass - 82.5 GPa. What does all this mean? It means, for the same diameter and thickness of watch crystal, it takes about 35 times more force to fail a piece of glass than a piece of sapphire, but sapphire will deform about three time more than glass before failing. Plastics have a yield stength of around 67 GPa, and a modulus of elasticity of 2585 GPa, which means they are about as strong as glass but able to deform about ten times more than glass before failing. Also, sapphire and mineral glass is tested by dropping a 2.25 ounce steel ball-bearing on a representative crystal from varying heights until the crystal breaks and the total amount of energy needed to break the glass can be calculated. According to ISO 14368, Part 3, mineral glass must absorb 1600 to 2100x10^-4 Newton-Meters, sapphire is only required to 800 to 1800x10^-4 NM.

On there divers I heard that Seiko prefers mineral because sapphire shatters much easier than glass, a disaster underwater. Even their $3000 Marinemaster had hardlex until recently.

I would use these bc it's easier to replace a protector that is scratched than the actual screen of the watch.
The bubbles maybe little pieces of dust holding it up.
