Wow Iya, as an Ethiopian that is initiated into Ifa, this is the first time I’ve seen Ethiopian ritual tied to African spirituality. I’ve always wanted to learn more about the African spirituality of Ethiopia (my ancestors). I am from the Gurage and Amhara tribes by the way. Thanks for this video! 🤍🙏🏾

Wow. When I was growing up in the baptist church my mom would scream cry and shake and say it was the Holy Spirit. She would speak in tongues too. This used to scare me, then embarrass me. Now I wish I knew how to tell her this is a hidden treasure she has.

I discovered “Zar” in my search for “Voodoo” in North Africa a few years ago. I was like… There it is!!! The “Mother Practice” and her daughters their oracles , and Spiritism hiding under the folds of the hijab! Looks like just another Sunday service in your local black church! This connection that we have, to embody Spirit is in our blood and genetic memory. We should see we can’t dismiss it , or fight it when it calls to us. Most importantly no matter how religious we get if we are open to it the “possession/connection” occurs! Even Christianity could not prevent that! Oh when will we stop demonizing and being afraid of WHO WE ARE! Even if we still want to embrace our colonized religion, we should NEVER dismiss our ancestral way! Although I still identity as a “Hebrew/ Israelite” I now am practicing and seeing slowly emerge a more “Shamanic/ Earth-based/ Divine Feminine way of practicing that predates the patriarchal based way that the BHI currently ascribe to. I see this mostly in “white” Jewish circles but even they know intuitively something is wrong! Even they are sensing the pull and call of The Mother so how much more should we! It’s beautiful to see this unfold!!! The Mother Awakens!! You are a highly blessed for sharing this! Thank You Sister!!! Ase!
PS Maybe you can do a video on Asherah the Wife of Yahweh as found in archeological artifacts from ancient Israel! The Mother was there too!

This was so well put together. Oh yes it’s true in Islam they even do readings for you with the Tasbeeh beads by knowing your mother or grandmother name while some are palm readers, have visions like the Hebrews and use incense and spices to heal or remove evil eye which is huge in the Muslim community. They also like to wear rings for protection with angel prayers and I have seen real life angels summoned by praying healers/Imams from Tanzania in the early hours of the morning. You just see the Quran move left and right like a pendulum and ask your questions while the entire room is full of incense and you are clean and smelling of oil perfumes because angels like cleanliness.
All you see is a light in the room when angels are called and they tie the Quran in a string to use as a pendulum as you ask any question about your life. They believe that the answers are directly from God speaking through the angels. A prayer room is dedicated for this experience. The person calling the angels goes on a fast only drinking water for the day and recites special prayers calling specific angels for hours on end.
The South Sudanese are some of the strongest with these prayers and the supernatural there was a time when Egyptians would hold them hostage to do money prayers for them. There is a market in Sudan full of these things all sorts of stuff you see. Then Morocco many of the African tribes there have power in the mountains where it’s full of djinns. The Nubians in Aswan are good coffee readers. I learned my coffee reading there when I discovered my gift.
Legend has it that the Sultan of OMAN Qaboos met his fate by his own family through evil eye because before it had happened a number of events were going on in that family.
I knew a well known Imam from Sudan who was Nubian who was called to work on healing one of the Princesses in OMAN 🇴🇲 who burped a fly that was still alive as she was eating food due to black magic. It’s not uncommon for the Sheikhs and leaders of Qatar, UAE, Kuwait and so forth to call these healers from Africa and pay them millions to stay in power or have power struggles with each other.

I pray you see this.

There are several spirits some good, some bad. I don’t have the knowledge to say all ‘Zar’ spirits are ‘bad’ but most are classified as descendants of nephliums or fallen angels. Ik many many people in my culture who practice this but as a spiritual person I don’t think it’s good to allow just any spirit to jump in our bodies just cause one has unlocked the power of mediumship.

People talk about the prophets of old but mock the prophets of today. I once had a dream as a kid, around 11 or 12 that God/The Holy Spirit came to me and placed me next to Her/him(there was no face only light) on a GOLDEN THRONE. We just hung out having fun. I was a child so I ran across my throne that was much bigger than me. The Throne of THM was just as big and I was standing before a giant shining brighter than the sun. I get made fun of just for having this dream. And I see clearly the ignorance of those in the books who didn't listen to people like me in those days. I want to feel bad for them but they make their own choices. I'm not here to convince anyone of anything. I'm only sharing my testimony as we are taught to do, only to be them told not to share with everyone. I am confused now. I don't need validation from other people but if I'm sent to give a warning the last thing I need is to be disrespected by those I'm sent to give the message to. To be rejected for lack and fear of knowledge does hurt but not as bad as losing that connection to the DIVINE MOTHER. I stay to myself now and SHE continues to guide and teach me about myself and purpose in this world. I know I'm not alone after all your here too, just like me. People will refuse to get in the boat and suffer the rain to their own peril. I will not be one of them. Thank you for sharing this knowledge and amazing teaching. You are highly valued and highly appreciated. Peace come to you and all that you hold dear. This is the only language I know so if there's anything in need of correcting please arrange them to meet my heard desire, which is for you to have joy and happiness in your life🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿💖💖💖👑👑👑

It depends on where these “Muslim men” are from.
It’s not good to generalize because there are different schools of thoughts within the Muslim world.
Islamic societies (that have not been corrupted by Wahhabi Extremists) are very tolerant of creative expression.
Some tribes in our Sahelien region, particularly the Kel-Tamasheq (or Tuaregs) are actually “Matriarchal” while being 100 percent Muslims:
It’s beautiful how similar our cultures our across the globe.

I love how the truths of Goddess originating in the horn of Africa is becoming undeniable, along with the selling of "slaves" from western Africa is being unveiled at the same time...AA women are not the daughters of western Africa. She is the daughter of the slain and damn near forgotten Goddess...she of ALL 10,000 names. She is the daughter of where humanity began, when Goddess made us in HER image in the horn of Africa.
