I vaguely remember extended part of this event (I think it's this event) where a rishi (likely the same guy) aksed Shiv to remove "faminine elements" from his body. Shiv warns him and eventually does what was asked by the rishi. The rishi turned into ashes. The moral is that every element has the balance of both masculine and feminine. (Just like a Ying Yang?)

Mahadeva, had the similar situation when he along with Maa Parvati appeared in front of Kubera. Kubera was so amazed that he literally started staring at Maa Parvati and Amma got annoyed on this. She asked Mahadeva, why's he staring and grinning at me? Mahadeva said, he's angry at you because you're standing next to me and he's thinking about the ways to reach that level and stand right next to me 😹. Mahadev, kills the very difference when he shows up. You just want to be right next to him... Har Har Mahadev 🙏

Bhagwan shiva was a "swayambu" means he came out of earth from transparent egg connected to earth..there were many swayambu's before shiva
One shiva is a name of eternal, formless creator who is present everywhere and another is historic shiva who was a great scientist and yogi
Shiva when came out of transperant egg gone to State of samadhi and absorbed the vedic mantras which were created by paramatma, resonating on manastatva..
And further he passed this vedic knowledge to most of the humans
I don't know why Sadhguru never talked about it ..
