i used to play this all the time at local pizza shop when i was teenager. I used to be able to beat the game. One time, after getting last hit on last boss, he flew up as normal, but did it in Slow Motion, so my score was way higher than normal. My best High score ever on a public machine. Was my peak gaming moment.
Anyone fishing the game by dying at the same time the last Boss gets killed yet the credits come on anyway? I killed the last Boss as he killed me since I could hear my character scream lol, but the game ends with end credits. So funny.
...how are you suppose to beat the 3rd boss normally? Looks like the statues are moving too fast and are too tanky before you reach the electric fence. Also, lol 1:09
That boss was a bitch I used to hurt my fingers spamming that shoot button I remember plus jumping to hit the higher statues then once there down trying to avoid the head shooting the fireball good times in 1989
You approach until they're all in frame then 'Haiyukin' their ass. After that, it's retreat and just jump and shoot until they're all dead. Then you can take care of the head as shown here.
That wall of statues is pretty tricky. Bosses in this game have a small period of invincibility just after being hit. That applies to every individual statue as well. The idea is to synchronize your jumps and shurikens so you are always hitting a vulnerable statue, using the invincibility time of one to damage another one. You also need to sneak some shurikens to the rear statues in the brief period that they are exposed when a front statue is destroyed, so they are already damaged when they come to the front line. It's advised to move to the back immediately at the start of the stage and don't move from there, to avoid being pushed by the statues, because you can't shoot while being pushed. If you do all of this perfectly, that first part of the boss stage is doable. Or you can just spam shoot and jump. It works 50% of the times in the first attempt, and almost 100% in a second, because the statues health is reduced after they kill you for the first time. The 'cheat' used isn't a very reliable one, because it has, more or less, a 50% chance of working (you can be pushed back to the side you started). But if you are speedrunning or going for a no damage run, that's the way to do it.
