Perhaps the oldest Wyvern in legend, in fact THE Wyvern, the Cockatrice. They may not be large but they have poison enough to kill even the hardiest hero.

This took about 5.5 hours and was penciled with Steatdler 2H drafting pencil and then inked with Micron pens and given an ink wash on 11" x 14" Strathmore Bristol.
