ATARI 2600!!!
David Canelas would collectors steal them if their credit card was on file?
@@markinnes4264 Agreed even to rent them out if possible. I have a N64.
@@410kane I did that for Witcher 3 when it came out for gamefly. Lmfao. They never sent it to collections bcuz I had no credit line at all. I was like 18 lol.
I googled this place and seen it was closed and now i want to cry.
Oh boy, the nostalgia. I seriously wish video stores could make a comeback. There's just something about physical media that streaming just cannot capture.
Why ? You rent from your house or go rent in a store the results is the same except no need to go to the store to get it then comeback to return it😅
Dammit I cried. VHS was my childhood...
Get over yourself
@Yellow Jacket that's good get under yourself I like that lol nah I'm just a very angry man I hop on the tube and comment angry stuff at ppl for an outlet
Sad childhood
I'm a guy. Be honest with your emotions. If not you're lying to yourself.
yeah...me too
I miss going to blockbuster with my mom and dad when i was little and begging them to let me rent an extra movie. Honestly if a video store opened up near me I'd probably go every week just for the nostalgia. I want blockbuster.
I DJ in my area and have dual SL1200GR's turntables and these couple of teenagers came up and looked at my set up and I herd one say too the other what's that pointing at a 45 single and his friend said that's what they make "CD" from. Thires no hope for the younger generation.
@Beau Littzen that girls seem libtards
This makes me teary eyed. I miss going to video stores
I miss video rental stores and i miss checking out the movies and videos games
I just hope the customers don't ruin any VHS cassettes.
mrmacross sounds like he has a solid and devoted customer base. Most probably take the extra effort to ensure they respect his property
It is easier to rewind or fast-forward on a VHS tape than it is on a CD
These were great times, VHS and DVDS were such classics until sadly in the late 2010s Netflix started getting more recognition and all the movie rental stores like Hollywood Video and Blockbuster started to cease their operations being defunct, it's sad that kids today will never get to experience the joy it was selecting movies to rent in person instead of online.
We have lost our way really with streaming services. It’s colder and so detached and sometimes he harder to choose. I used to keep going back to my local video shop and rent the mask repeatedly. The excitement I used to get :)
He has way better collections then Netflix or prime video... Great job
We have had the same VHS player for 16 years and still works great
They were made well back then. JVC VCR units were made in Japan, and were heavy and very high quality. So was Sony.
@@QuantumEffectResidue I didn´t go very well with JVC,better Sony.
Memories ❤️ i bet this man has a lot of old WWF PPV’s 🔥🔥🔥💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽
He did have a wrestling video playing during the parts of the interview he was behind the counter
Got me in my feels of nostalgia!
I felt nostalgia just watching people go through the aisles and browsing lol. What a nice, warm, comforting, feeling lol.
I hope that place gets turned into a museum after all is said and done.
Great video and I'm glad he's making it still work with his community!
As convenient as digital stuff is now, I really do miss going to the rental place and looking at the movies. It was a staple in our house since I was a kid. Every friday night, rent an NES game, rent a couple movies and get pizza. Then spend the weekend enjoying it all, it was a blast! It was a god-send when we lived in a bad neighborhood, but anyway, again, great video!
My 2 favorite movies on VHS were Dunstin Checks In and Ace Ventura Pet Detective When Nature Calls
I remember always buying butter popcorn whenever my mom and I would rent a movie in the evening...the good old days, eh? 😊
Bless your hart, Signed out of work vcr repair guy.
Brings me back . I loved the day of the week we got to go to the vhs shop and pick out movies
Long live the VHS store and the old fashioned customer service! Talk about a hidden gem....
VHS horror covers, Double Dragon, Romy and Michelle's High School Reunion and Zoobaly Zoo=my childhood in a nutshell :)
If everyone cancels their streaming we can bring video shops back. It's up to you guys.
I would love to watch Rambo on VHS again.
Well I got a VHS player for £20 and the star wars original trilogy for £5 so I'm sure you have enough money
From a kid who grew up across the street from a West Coast Video, this is excellent
I used to work in a video store when I was at college, loved it. I've not seen one now for nearly 20yrs. My son will never know this type of store....I hope it will stay open for a very long time....
